« We had a lovely weekend. The place is exactly as per the photos, it’s very clean. Lovely outdoor space to have dinner and breakfast. The beds were very comfortable. They provided us with a lot of amenities, as well as food such as jams, coffee, tea etc. The area is very nice and relaxing, a nice getaway from the city. Would highly recommend this stay! »

« Spacious home. Large bedrooms to enable family to spread out.. so grateful for ducted air conditioning… stay was so comfortable. Home is well equipped with everything we could hope for.. from washing machine, dryer to hair straightener. Host was very accomodating and check in/ out so easy. »

« This is a beautiful slice of paradise. Judy and her husband were so welcoming and hospitable. It was very convenient home base for our visit to Hobbiton and Waitamo. We just wished we could stay longer! »

« Left a note for the hostess, as some maintenance required. E.g two heat pumps not working, and several light bulbs needing replacing. Plus some helpful hints e.g a scourer for the saucepans, hand washing soap in the bathrooms, and checking the filter on the dryer. »

« Beautiful and peaceful, with total privacy. This cottage had everything we needed, with the added bonus of farm animal visitors on misty mornings. Easy travel to local highlights, close to town but far enough away to feel like a hidden sanctuary. Loved it »
