Such a beautiful home that is well stocked and great location to the beach, restaurants and downtown. Melanie & Stephanie are extremely helpful and respond quickly to questions and concerns. You can leave your cares behind, be a short distance to restaurants and amazing beach access. We were entertained by seal, swimming right along the beach, pelicans nose diving into the ocean to catch their fish. The upstairs deck at the house gave us a panoramic view of the beach where we had our morning coffee and did whale watching. If you love being close to the ocean and relax in the sun, this place is for you. The weather was perfect and everyone in our family had the best time in this amazing home!

Absolutely excellent location!! The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to prepare at least 2 meals a day for 6 adults including serving pieces, glassware, dinnerware etc. There was abundance of good quality towels centrally located between the two bathrooms. The location just steps from the paved path or the beach allowed for lots of trips to the beach or long walks without ever getting into the car. The view from the home was perfect from the large gathering room & main bedroom of the ocean. The rooftop area allowed for golden hour enjoyment as well. Highly recommend this home.
Seating for 8 accommodated all our meals and game playing.
View out the main bedroom suite.
Kite flying on our beach was unobstructed and perfect winds.

By the seaside

This is a large house ideal for an intergenerational family gathering. The kitchen is large enough for everyone; there were 9 of us helping each other.The living space could accommodate everyone for games under an impressive dome. Dining space was also large enough to sit everyone comfortably. Proximity to the bay is a positive plus, and the availability of good nearby restaurants is very convenient for bringing high quality takeout meals.

Lovely coastal home

We had an amazing time staying here! The house is clean, super spacious and very comfortable. Wonderful kitchen and we all slept so well in the beds. We enjoyed the location and the proximity to San Fran, the coastal trail and nature reserves. Great communication with host.

Great House with a Couple of Notes

The property is great - clean, amazing view, owners very responsive and the most well stocked property we've stayed in. Just a couple of things to note:1. While the listing does mention there are other units with no shared space, they are connected under your unit and we did here loud music and voices both during quiet hours and during the day. Not for extended periods of time but enough for us to take notice.2. The laundry room is shared occasionally with housekeeping and could be inaccessible to you for a period of time if they are using it. There is also no inside only lock on your side of the laundry room door, so technically anyone who has a key or wanted to pick the simple door lock could get into your unit. Maybe consider installing a hinge or latch lock on the inside to help guests feel more secure.3. When you first arrive there is a strong smell similar to varnish throughout the property. They do note this in the guidebook and they have done a good job with fans and air filters to help eliminate it, but occasionally throughout our trip we did smell it on and off, so just a heads up if you are sensitive to odors.Overall a good house just a couple of things to be aware of before your stay. :)

Beautiful stay at the beach

We had a wonderful stay at this Miramar house. The house was just perfect upon arrival. Very clean, and well stocked. The views were amazing from the main level, but even better from the roof top deck. We enjoyed sitting up there watching and listening to the waves. We got really lucky with the weather and enjoyed the quick walk down to the beach. We also enjoyed the restaurant next door. One day sitting outside for lunch with our teens, and one evening sitting at the bar for a drink, a cup of chowder and live music. Groceries and gas stations are only a couple of minutes away. We also enjoyed golfing at The Half Moon Bay Ocean course at the Ritz, only about 10 minutes away. I would love to come back!

This home hosted mine and my wife’s family with our teens for a weekend. Location is perfect for quick beach access and hitting the bike trail. Great Accommodations and Perfect Location!

It was a pleasure for my group and me to spend the long weekend at this home, located just 75 yards from the beach and an even shorter walk to the Miramar Restaurant, where we enjoyed dinner and cocktails. The house was very clean, spacious, tons of natural light, gorgeous views, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The owner was receptive and quick to respond to my various questions, which was appreciated. Definitely would stay here again - and highly recommend it to anyone.

We very much enjoyed staying at this property. It is probably the nicest, cleanest, and best amenities rental I've ever stayed in. My girlfriends and I loved this space and the proximity to the ocean and the views of the ocean, and we are hoping we can make staying her an annual gals trip!

This property is out of this world! Super host and clean! We had such a comfortable stay and loved watching the dolphins swim. Started the trip at Half Moon Bay Brewery and shopping nearby. We spent every morning walking the trail along the ocean.

Relaxing week with our growing family

Had a wonderful time with our children and extended family, in a very quiet and relaxing location! House had 2 levels, allowing one family to sleep upstairs, while we stayed on the main level. And the water views on a sunny day are really relaxing. Using the grill while watching the waves crash was so enjoyable. Beach was literally a 2 minute walk, with a cute beach restaurant in between for food and drinks as well. Grocery shopping is about 3 miles away in Half Moon Bay, as are some of the fast food staples. Plenty of great other restaurants in El Granada and Pacifica too. We were able to easily visit several of the San Francisco (proper) tourist locations, hopped over to Palo Alto, Santa Clara, San Jose and even Sausalito and Mill Valley with ease. Always about an hour drive each way. Remember that this is on the ocean, but fog is going to be present this far up the California coast. The cool evenings were AWESOME in July, as we were leaving 90+ degree temperatures back home. And when we wanted sun, we jumped to the other locations as I previously mentioned. Plenty of cooking and eating space, and a large living area for just hanging out. Stephanie and Melanie were incredibly fast in their responses to any questions we had. Highly enjoyed our time!
