Great Half Moon Bay home base

What a great find! Perfect space for our family. We love the shops and restaurants in HMB and being right on Main St. made this the perfect home base for wandering the town and also hopping over to the beach. Look forward to visiting again.

Family HMB Weekend

Everything was awesome. I think the only thing that could be improved was the communication on the facility and available amenities. We didn’t realize that this was part of a B&B. When we tried to share some of the services provided downstairs, we were told that we were not allowed to use any of those items. We had no coffee in our place for the second morning but were unable to use any of the beverages or items provided downstairs. Just a little awkward on what we were able to use that wasn’t provided in our room.

Good location to walk for restaurants. Excluded from breakfast and evening snack. Rug in the living area was grubby huge stain on the sofa, wasn’t sure what it was so kept a towel on it. No lamp in the living room and the overhead light was super bright so if someone was sleeping I couldn’t sit and read We’ve stayed at quite a few VRBO properties and this is the first one that has been a disappointment.

A cute cozy stay at Half Moon Bay

Very cozy and clean home in the heart of downtown HMB. The home was clean, good lighting, and sleeps up to 8. The location was perfect for a small walk to delicious eats. We had dinner at Moon Pasta and brunch at Moon Bakery. Both places were very delicious and a 2 minute walk from the stay. Definitely recommend.

Fabulous Property

Really enjoyed this property. It is a separate unit that is part of a B&B. The unit is perfect for a family of four with a great loft space with two beds. Fantastic location in the heart of Half Moon Bay. Walking distance to food and shopping with a short drive to the beach. Would stay here again.

Great cozy place in HMB

The Penthouse is an off-shoot of the "Nantucket Whale Inn" and is great way to stay in downtown HMB. We had family visiting the Bay Area, and it was just what we needed. Clean, surprisingly spacious, and perfectly located. The town centers around Main Street, so you're right in the heart here: great if you want a walking accessible option for food and sight-seeing nearby. The listing mentions a wine-tasting, but the staff was quick remind us that, despite the listing, this perk was just for the B&B guests, that "the penthouse is *only* a VRBO, not part of the B&B" adding to odd feeling of walking around back to get in, as not to enter the actual Inn. Not deal-breakers and overall, in a town where larger accommodations are at a premium, we'd certainly go back.

Family HMB overnight trip

Beautiful spacious place tucked in the back off the street. Easy to find and decorated nicely. Very comfy beds and up to date. Our only problem was a clogged shower and it’d be great if there was a dishwasher. All worth the price and would recommend and visit again. The fire pits on the private gated patio were a nice bonus. Nice and quiet clean place.

This is a beautiful apartment in a quiet part of Half Moon Bay, but I was offended by the high cost of the cleaning fee - over $280 for one night with just 2 people in the unit.

Great Property!

We had a wonderful and much needed Girls Trip in HMB. The property was perfect for our group of 5. Everything looked exactly as it did online and the place was very comfortable. We were within walking distance of shops, restaurants, and breweries. The beach is just a little less than a mile away but easier to drive. The owner was very accommodating and quick to respond. We will definitely be back!

It was a perfect place for 4 adults. The upstairs loft was a challenge because of the low ceilings-they would be more conducive with children. We had a few questions once we got there and the property manager responded right away with solutions. Close to town and the beach as advertised.

Extremely clean as pictured in the photos. Beds were very comfortable. The location was within walking distance to a delicious bakery and several restaurants. We only had a few problems - I couldn’t get the water in the shower as hot as the water in the sinks, and we also couldn’t get the oven to work (it kept turning off after a few minutes of being on). We would have also liked a few extra linens (a blanket or two) available for the pull out bed. Thank you for a nice stay!
