Nemasu ecolodge: breathtaking!l

Since 1992 Nemasu has hosted visitors from all over the world, drawn to this unique area by the friendliness of the Gambian people and the beauty of its coast. Our eco-lodge is elegant, and comfortable; right on the beach, surrounded by forest, with natural, comfortable houses and lodging. Fresh, healthy local food, great cocktails, and friendly staff. We're central and provide all services so you don't have to worry about a thing!
The space
Nemasu eco-lodge is located on the best beach in Gambia- peaceful, beautiful & inspiring. We have a range of accommodation options- our Airbnb price is for one of our Roundhouses- African style, beautiful with king size bed, en-suite, mahogany furniture, and views of the ocean. We have a great restaurant, bar & activities. Only 45 minutes from the airport!

We have a range of activities including drum lessons, bird watching, body boarding on one of our free boards, bike riding, swimming, or wandering around the village of Medina Salam- a peaceful, truly African rural village.

Our restaurant is full of locally sourced organic food; we even have a hand made mud oven that we bake food with. We have a bar- so be free to sit in a hammock, watch the sunset with your favorite cocktail!

We are on several hectares of healthy forest. We have monkeys visit, the occasional antelope, and have planted many trees including mango, coconut, and cashew, as well as many flowers and vegetables.
