Cheap patio furniture, 1 chair broke other broke when my 60 lb. grandson set in it, couldn't get it replaced on our stay, plastic guard rail on balcony, kids were not allowed alone there. Tiny kitchen, no sheets for sleeper sofa, unit must be owned by individual, poor up keep, but we didn't let it spoil our fun, pay for what ya get

Disappointed in condo

The condo unit was very dated. The area was very nice and beach access was good. I was very surprised at the much inflated additional fees associated with an online booking. The final cost was 4 times the price of the posted nightly price.

Very small and noisy

The location of the condo was nice, but that was the only good thing. The pics of the rooms were deceiving and made it look like it was a one bedroom, when in fact it's a pull-out bed in the living room. Also, the a/c unit was so noisy that it literally would wake us up during the night. The microwave was situated on top of the fridge, which I found very odd. Parking was difficult with my husband's truck because the garage was not spacious at all. We made it work, but definitely won't go back.

Cheap but you get what you pay for.

Location was great. Room was small but that's ok, I wish there had been a window at eye level in the bedroom. Dirty and old furniture.

To begin with was overcharged, paid to hold room which was supposed to be deducted from total, After arriving at hotel the staff said that no payment was made and that I owed the total amount, then charged me 2.5 percent to use my credit card. Then the hotel room bed sheets had burn holes in it and the pillows were stained and dirty. No phone in the room, coffee maker was nasty. Had only two towels and two bath towels to use the four days we stayed there. Just an all around terrible stay. Would never stay there again.

Nice close to beach

Aside from being close to beach, has a very nice pool area with heated pool and wading pool for little kids.

Terrible chek in!

Used hotels.com to get room, they told us we could chek in at lobby wenevr. Ther was no loby, we had to pick up keys b4 5pm! Got ther at 9pm n no 1 at offic, n no 1 even knew bout our resrvtn! They wer suposed to leav keys in pik up box outside office n didnt! Took 2 hrs to get keys to Rm! Also we wernt told bout a $300 cleaning fee!! Got charged $20 ex per night than we were told by hotels.com, but since we only stayed 1 day n 2 nights were given a $100 clean fee! In all we payed about $250 more than expected!!! Not happy!! Beds were terribly hard, but place was pretty nice! Beautiful location!

Don't do it!

This place was a rip off. Worse than my colleg dorm (but smelled just as bad). The hidden cleaning fee was 1/2 of the original price. Very uncomfortable bed. The place sucked, and the description online was very deceiving.

2016 beach vacation

We really enjoyed our stay. For the cost, it was great! Room was very clean. It was on the end closer to road so we had traffic noise but we weren't in the room much anyway. Kitchen was fully stocked. Pools were great!!! Overall we loved Sugar Beach Condos. Would stay again!

Condo on the beach

Our only complaint is when we laid on the bed one evening and looked up there was a lot of thick dust laying on the fan spilling over the edges.

Choose another place to stay

The condo was booked before we found out that the fees were more expensive than the room rent. This was the first thing that was a disappointment. The condo was outdated, way too small, had one tiny elevator and was not very attractive for the money. We ended up having to wash the towels ourselves because they don't provide new ones. They don't have wifi unless you call the cable provider and arrange for it your self. When I went to take a bath, the latch for the drain didn't work and someone put the kitchen sink stopper up there in the tub. This gave you about 5 minutes in the tub before all the water drained out. When you leave you have to wash dishes and bring all the trash to the dumpster or they charge you extra. The beach wasn't very good either. My family stayed in the Perdido Resort Hotel and had great facilities and their bill was smaller than ours. I will never stay there again even if they are the last rental place left. I would rather drive in to Pensacola than stay there.

Super Great Condo

This was by far one of the best condo's I have booked. This place was so nice the rooms, furniture everything was new and up to date. Being right on the beach with a view of the ocean every morning was even better. Will for sure book this one again!

Great beach location

Booked room for the weekend and very happy with everything, easy access to the beach the condo had four swimming pools. There was covered parking and never had a hard time finding a spot. Room was clean, I would stay here again.

We had a great time on our stay at Sugar Beach Condos. Loved the location and the price was great. There was food crumbs on the pull out sleeper sofa and the building could use a bit of an upgrade, but overall we had a great time.

Management of this unit is non-existent. Nasty!

We stayed in unit #153. I have been in substandard places before, but this was by far the worst. The place looked as the previous guests may have left it. We found the master bed half way made, a hair was still under the sheets, the mosquito net to the balcony was detached and left laying against the wall, the balcony had no light bulb, old boxes and trash inside the closets, bathrooms and showers with mold and deep scratches, coffee maker wouldn't work, some dishes still dirty inside the pantry. When extended the sofa bed, there was a q-tip stuck to the mattress (yuck!). The sheets and pillows looked as if they haven't been washed in years. Creaky beds, noisy fans....thick layer of dust over the master bed headboard... kitchen drawers falling apart... the floor was sticky (we had to mop and vacuum the unit). The condo itself seems to be well maintained. The pools were clean and outside the unit was nice. The location and amenities made up for the terrible management and cleanliness of the unit. I would go back to the condo but under a different realty management agency.
