Hangloose Hideaway Beach House with private pool. 272 steps or 1 block to beach.

Hangloose Hideaway is a beautiful beach house with spacious pool, located in the heart of Gulf Shores. We request that summer and spring break rentals be Sunday to Sunday or Saturday to Saturday. Enjoy the privacy of not being in a complex. You can park up to four vehicles. You can park your car and everything is within walking distance. Bahama Bobs, Surfside Pizza, Burro Azul, and Lauria Italian Beach Bar are all less that 500 steps. We are also located behind Island Outfitters. We have added a heated pool so your family will have another space to hangout and enjoy. The pool can be heated or in the summer it can be chilled. There are two pictures that were taken before the pool was built. The private pool was added in 2023. Hangloose Hideaway is located at 428 W 1ST Avenue. Perfect for families or large groups looking to be close to the beach and enjoy plenty of room to hangout. The house is newly decorated. There are four-bedroom suites. Two of the bedrooms have a king-size bed. The third bedroom has a queen-size bed. The fourth bedroom has a full over full bunk bed. Each bedroom has a balcony, a private bathroom, and a smart TV. There is a full-size sofa bed located in the living room. Hangloose Hideaway comfortably sleeps 12 with over 2600 sq ft of living space. We are less than 300 steps to beach access. There is an outside shower located downstairs by the back staircase. The Gulf Shores Gulf Front Park is two blocks away. Come hangout this summer at Hangloose Hideaway.

A new favorite!

We were thrilled with our stay at Hangloose Hideaway!! We rent beach houses often, and this is one of the best we’ve ever rented. The location can’t be beat… easy access to the beach and local attractions. The property was clean and updated with plenty of supplies. A bathroom in every bedroom was a huge plus! The balconies off of every room was a major feature! And the pool is beautiful and modern. Our host was friendly, helpful, and responsive. We loved it and will stay again if we can!

The location was perfect, a very easy walk to the beach. The house, while very nice, was not very clean overall, we killed several big ants throughout the week, the whole place could be dusted. We loved the pool but there was no shade at all, a couple large umbrellas would have been amazing.

The pool had sand in it upon arrival on Saturday. The pool guy came but never vacuumed the pool. I contacted the owner. He returned on I believe Friday. I think he used the net, there was a large pile of debris in the bottom near the steps of the pool. I tried to scoop it up as best I could. We did have some rain and storms, but again- there was a lot of sand when we arrived on Saturday.

Hideaway in Gulf Shores

We loved the house!! Location was great!! It was perfect for our group while playing in a softball tournament. After a long day at the park, we played pool volleyball and swam. House is nicely decorated and plenty of room. Owners were easy to communicate with and answered all our questions! Highly recommend staying here!!

Great stay!

We stayed at Hangloose Hideaway for our multi-family vacation. The house was perfect for all 13 of us! It accommodated adults and kiddos very well. It was a very short walk to the beach and close to lots of shops and restaurants to walk to as well. The pool was so nice and a favorite for all the kids. We would definitely stay here again!

Great trip

We had a great stay at the Hangloose Hideaway. A very short walk to the beach. A short walk to quite a few places to eat, drink, etc. The heated pool was wonderful. The kids never wanted to get out.A lot of things to do in and around Gulf Shores for both kids and adults. We had no college spring breakers in our group, but it seems to be a place worth going with your college friends.Thanks a bunch, we had a great time

Wonderful Vacation

Location of property was awesome. Heated Pool was awesome. Plenty of space for all of us. Large kitchen and eating areas to accommodate us all. Everyone had their own suite & deck/porch access. Great time for entire family/friends. Definitely recommend. Hope to return soon!!!

Family vacation!

This property was very nice and fit all of us comfortably. Grass was pretty tall and the doors were sticking and not opening because of it being hot, but other than that, it was a great place. Close to the beach, shops and restaurants. Very easy to walk to most places.

Loved our stay!

First of all, the location is amazing! I’ve always stayed in condos right on the beach, but this trip we needed more space so we for a home. I was worried about it not being right on the beach- but it was actually less time than it would be if staying 8 floors up! Such easy access! Second of all, each time I had any questions, I had answers within 15 minutes! Superb service! Third of all, this house has 4.5 bathrooms! All working and with hot water and good water pressure! The kitchen can fit many as can the couch in the living room. The pool, though, was our favorite! Yes, there is sand in it- but it was still so pretty and nice! I have all 5’s, however a couple of things I would note: bring toilet paper. What is supplied is the industrial kind if you know what I mean! Bring seasonings for food- not much is supplied. Great stay!

Everything we hoped for!

Our stay at Hangloose Hideaway was excellent. Our whole family was able to stay and we had so much fun. The house was big enough for us all to have our own space. The house was even more beautiful than the pictures and was spotless. The four grandkids loved having the pool to get in after coming back from our time on the beach. Location was great we were within walking distance to everything. Communication was great. We will definitely be staying in Hangloose again.

Best Family Beach House!!

This property is beautifully decorated, clean, spacious, centrally located for convenience to restaurants, groceries, beach access and more!!! It is well stocked with plenty of everything needed to make your vacation relaxing and one to remember. The Hangloose Hideaway will be our families “home away from home” for our future beach trips!!

INCREDIBLE Vacation House

This is the very best house we have ever stayed in and we always use VRBO as a family of 5. The rooms are spacious, clean, and have everything you could possibly need. The balconies were so wonderful for morning coffee and the beach is right across the street. The layout is absolutely perfect for families. The full kitchen was equipped with everything you could possibly need! This is definitely the house you should be looking for.
