Kingpost Parade, Guildford Apartment with En Suite Bedrooms

Summary:

Three bedrooms, four bathrooms and room for up to eight: each bedroom has a king-size bed and its own en suite, there's a fourth bathroom, and a sofa bed in the living room takes guests seven and eight on request. The third bedroom fills the whole top floor, with its own kitchenette. The apartment is newly refurbished, with underfloor heating and a large island kitchen, and free parking for three cars is right outside. Guildford High Street is about 7 minutes by car.



The Space:

Sleeping

Bedroom 1: UK king-size bed, 150 cm wide (about the size of a US queen), with an en suite.

Bedroom 2: UK king-size bed with an en suite.

Bedroom 3, the top-floor suite: UK king-size bed, an armchair, a table for two, a kitchenette (sink, microwave and washer-dryer) and an en suite with a bath. A glass hatch closes over the stairs.

Living room: a sofa bed for two, made up on request (see Other Things to Note).

Hotel-quality linen and towels are ready for everyone, with extra pillows, blankets and room-darkening blinds.



Bathrooms

Four: the three en suites, one with a bath, and a separate fourth bathroom.



Kitchen and dining

A quartz island with an induction hob and seating for six, double ovens, a dishwasher, a microwave and an American-style fridge freezer with an ice and water dispenser, plus cookware, glassware and kitchen basics such as foil and kitchen roll.



Living

A corner sofa, a second sofa and a Smart TV. Every room in the apartment has a Smart TV, the kitchen included.



Outside

A terrace by the front door with a table and chairs.



Everyday practicals

Underfloor heating with a thermostat in each room, fast Wi-Fi, a washing machine and tumble dryer by the kitchen, the top-floor washer-dryer, an iron, a hair dryer and generous wardrobe space.



Travelling with children

Children and babies are welcome, and families with teenagers often choose the top-floor suite for them. There are stairs inside and out. There is no cot at the moment; please bring a travel cot if you need one.



Bringing your dog

Up to three dogs are welcome, and a pet fee applies.



Good to know

The apartment sits above a short row of shops on a main road. An outside staircase leads up to it and internal stairs lead to the top floor, so it is not suitable for anyone who cannot manage steps. Expect some traffic noise and the occasional early bin lorry.



Guest Access:

The whole apartment and its terrace are yours. Self check-in is by keypad from 4 pm, with the last arrivals at 9 pm, and departure is by 11 am. Parking is free: we register up to three cars for the car park in front of the building, and three more spaces there are first come, first served.



The Neighborhood:

Kingpost Parade is in Burpham, a suburb on the north-east edge of Guildford. Downstairs on the parade there's a bakery, a café and the Rajdoot Indian restaurant. By car: G Live 5 minutes, Guildford High Street and the castle gardens 7, Newlands Corner in the Surrey Hills 8, Guildford Cathedral 9 and RHS Garden Wisley 15. The towpath along the River Wey and the walks on Merrow Downs are good for families and dogs alike.



Getting Around:

Guildford station, about 7 minutes by car, has fast trains to London Waterloo. The A3 is about two minutes away for London, the M25 and the south coast, and buses into town run along London Road.



Other Things to Note:

Three king beds are the standard set-up. For a seventh and eighth guest, request the sofa bed when you book: a £30 linen and preparation charge applies, and last-minute requests may not be possible.



ID check and deposit: after booking, the lead guest completes a short ID check and deposit step with our partner SafeGuest. You choose either a Damage Deposit of £400 (your card is saved and nothing is taken up front; it can only be charged for a claim SafeGuest approves after check-out) or SafeGuest's No Deposit fee of £45 (a one-off fee paid to SafeGuest). If you can't use the photo ID check, message us and we'll arrange a short video call instead. Please don't send ID documents by email. Arrivals after 9 pm aren't possible, as that is when self check-in closes.
