Villa Mariposa is located in the south of Puerto Rico. Only 25 minutes from Ponce and 40 minutes from Rincon. This exclusive villa sits in the middle of Guanica’s Dry Forest, making its environment so unique and peaceful. If your looking for an escapade to disconnect and connect with nature , no better place than here! Great for families and friends to spend time together and enjoy nature at its best.

The villa has an open floor design. The main floor has one bedroom with its full bathroom, full laundry with a half bathroom, dining table that seats 10, fully loaded kitchen (cafe machine, toaster, microwave, oven, electric stove, fridge, freezer, sink with extractor, dishwasher, cutlery, dining sets, cups, wine and champagne glasses, etc), tv/living area.

On the secong floor you can find all other 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and a second tv/living area.

Both tv`s are smart tv`s with cable access.

The deck and pool area has a lounge area, a tanning area with chairs, and an additional dining table that seats 8. We also have a bbq area.

You can find main trash in the kitchen area and a larger trash can located by the bbq.

the villa has its very own private parking. the property is located in a residential area, thus we do neighbor a hotel.

24 hour availability from our host or cohost. We also have staff member that live in the neighborhood for any emergencies or immediate assistance.

We are neighbors to Copamarina beach resort !
In town, you can acces local grocery stores , pharmacies, and local restaurants (10/15 mint drive).

We do recommend having a car. For extracurricular activities you could bike.

Although its location is pretty remote, Villa Mariposa neighbors the amazing Hotel Copamarina , which has 2 amazing restaurants.

If you`re looking for the full experience, at an additional cost, we offer diving, surfing, and other water sports activities. We can also accommodate private Yoga sessions as well as massages.

Private chefs are amongst the most requested and we have a variety, depending on the occasion, budget, and culinary taste, just ask us and we can recommend a few for your choice.

We do accept events, including weddings. Please feel free to ask for our pricing.
House Rules
Welcome to Villa Mariposa

o Check in at 4pm; Check out 11am, for early check-in or late check-out has to be previously approved by the host.

o Pets must be previously approved. Only on the first floor/common areas not in bedrooms/pool. Please keep pets off sofas. if we find that there were dogs in the pool, they will have an additional fee.

o No smoking inside the house. Please use ashtrays to dispose of cigarettes if smoking outside.

o No PARTIES, BANDS, DJs, ETC. ALLOWED UNLESS PREVIOUSLY APPROVED BY THE OWNER.

o NO COMMERCIAL PHOTOGRAPHY OR VIDEO ALLOWED UNLESS APPROVED AND HAVE SIGNED AN EVENTS CONTRACT WITH OWNER.

o Bedroom curtains open and close at the far end with a string system. Please do not pull by fabric!

o Please do not throw GARBAGE in the toilets (toilet paper, napkin, sanitary napkin etc.) use the trash can. Take out all trash before check-out.

o Keep doors and sliding doors closed when the air is on

o CHECK OUT THE CHECKLIST:
• Turn Off all Kitchen appliances, TVs, ACC, and lights, including pool lights and all outdoor lights. Close all sliding doors and windows. Throw away all the trash.

o Do not stain the sheets, white furniture, or towels (makeup-blood).

o In each bathroom, small grey face towels, please use these for makeup removal.

o Note: As a company rule, a deposit of $1,000.00 is requested, which will be retained until the checkout is made and it is confirmed with the administration that there is no damage. Additionally, a credit card is requested in which the amount of the deposit will be debited and if the damage caused is greater than $1,000.00, it will be charged to the credit card provided.
NOTE: EXTRA CHARGE ($300.00) FOR NOT COMPLYING WITH THE RULES

*STORM POLICY– HURRICANE OR STORM POLICY – No refunds will be given unless:
The state or local authorities order mandatory evacuations in a `Tropical Storm/Hurricane Warning area` and/or
A `mandatory evacuation order has been given for the Tropical Storm/Hurricane Warning` area of residence of a vacationing guest.
The day that the authorities order a mandatory evacuation order in a `Tropical Storm/Hurricane Warning,` area, we will refund:
Any unused portion of rent from a guest currently registered.
Any unused portion of rent from a guest that is scheduled to arrive,

and wants to shorten the stay, to come in after the Hurricane Warning is lifted; and
Any advance rents collected or deposited for a reservation that is scheduled to arrive during the `Hurricane Warning` period.

TRAVEL INSURANCE – We highly recommend all guests purchase travel insurance.

* Check out check list:
-Turn Off all Kitchen appliances, TV’s, AC’s, lights, including pool lights
and all outdoor lights.
-Close all sliding doors and windows.
-Take out all trash to outside dumpsters INSIDE THE PROPERTY. ALL GARBAGE BAGS MUST BE INSIDE THE DUMSPTERS!
oDo not stain the sheets, white furniture, or towels
o Please use small grey face towels for makeup
removal.
o Dirty towels should be left on the bathroom floors


Remember, as you are checking out, the house should be left in the same conditions it was for your check in.


After your booking has been confirmed, owner might send additional documents regarding house rules and/or COVID protocol for your review and signature.


Failure to comply by the rules here listed, we will apply an additional fee of $300 per each rule you and your guests fail to comply with. A Staff member will do a walk through check list during check out time.
