« Beautiful hotel right on the beach but also in a small village with shops and restaurants. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and well-appointed. Our room looked out on the ocean. We will definitely return. Their main restaurant served good food but the wait time for service was long and overall management was lacking. We ate two meals there before I formed that opinion. There is a lot to do and see on Jekyll Island. »

« I think of a Ritz Carlton as an over the top experience but I feel the Amelia Island Ritz is underwhelming. With all resort fees, parking cost etc., the nightly room charge was $1400. That is no food or activity charges. We were disappointed their “Salt” restaurant is closed on Sunday and Monday so did not get to eat there. Other eating options are fine but not special by any means. »
