« A lovely old homestead surrounded by welcoming lawn and gardens. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house was spacious & charmingly rustic. It suited the needs of our extended family of 7 adults & 4 children. Our only disappointment was a few basic items that were missing .. there was no salt & pepper, cooking oil & an inadequate supply of toilet paper for the length of stay we’d booked for 11 people. « We were so disappointed when we arrived, the house was tidy but definitely not cleaned. After finding other hazards, including a blood trail on the floor, we decided to leave. My family, including our 4 children, had to promptly try to find new accomodation, hours from home. Upon speaking to the lady in charge, she was extremely rude, extremely un helpful and refused to be of any help to us, or reimburse us for the any of it, despite staying no longer than 40 minutes. « Host was accommodating and welcoming,responsive, patient and friendly. Great amenities , it had everything we needed . Spotlessly crystal clean, easy parking just outside the property. We joyed our stay pretty much. »
