« This is a quaint little motel just up the road from Greer's Ferry Lake. We had a wedding to attend at a venue about 2 miles away, and needed a place to stay the night. The room we stayed in was spacious and impeccably clean. The beds were very comfortable. The AC worked great. And there was plenty of hot water for 3 of us to take showers back to back to back. « So the bed was pretty comfortable. And somebody had called me to let me know the person at the front desk had to leave and they were going to leave my room key in the room on the bed for me. I thought it was kind of strange that would have left the room unlocked like that but I was thankful they called to let me know what was going on. I hate saying but it's definitely not worth the $80 something dollars I paid. The room was too warm and I couldn't figure out where the heat was coming from,...

« The cottage was nice and simple. Perfect for 2 people. We loved the old ship lap design on the interior walls and the kitchen cabinets primitive design. Everything was super clean. The exterior lighting and rock work adds a great touch for the evening hours with a fire pit & chill out area. The cottage sits only a couple minute drive from the marina, which makes this destination perfect for those spending a day on the lake. »

« After checking in I parked and noticed cigarette butts in front of the doorway, maybe 7-10. I got in the room and pulled the comforter back to sit on the bed and immediately noticed that the sheets had not been changed. I pulled the top sheet back and there was a drop of bright red blood on the bottom sheet. « Very well appointed home with many extras. The house is in close proximity to many restaurants and the lake. Very relaxing and my Dad caught 12 trout in the River. Place was very clean and for two people mid seventies it was nice having easy access. »
