Your Greer adventure begins at this privately located 3-bedroom cabin on two fully fenced acres with easy access all year-round!

The Hen House offers the best of both worlds- Just two miles from town, yet tucked away on Northwoods Road down a long, private driveway with plenty of space to park and play. Here at The Hen House, you can enjoy the peaceful sounds of the pine trees without the hustle and bustle or congestion. The Hen House is located smack dab in a wildlife corridor- So enjoy frequent visits from hummingbirds, turkey, elk, deer, fox, wolves, and bears.

Inside The Hen House, guests will find two king beds, a queen bed, and a cozy bunk bed- perfect for families or groups. The "Master Rooster Suite" is located upstairs with its own bathroom and includes a king bed, smart TV, and entry/exit to a private wraparound deck. Guests can enjoy the private shower and antique clawfoot tub after a long day of exploring. Enjoy expansive views of the mountains from the upper loft, located just off of this private master suite.

Head downstairs to the main floor and enjoy the open concept kitchen, dining room, and living room combo- perfect for entertaining. This fully stocked kitchen comes with all of the essentials to cook and enjoy a yummy meal. Pots, pans, cups, plates, foil, slow cooker - You name it, we have it! Guests can enjoy the large, centrally located kitchen island for extra seating. The large metal farmhouse table located in the adjoining dining room is perfect for hosting big gatherings. Inside the dining room, guests will also find a highchair and fully stocked coffee bar with a Ninja coffee maker and electric tea kettle.

Head into the living room to enjoy the reclining sectional sofa, comfy bed sofa, and large smart TV. Inside the living room, guests will find board games, toys, and a karaoke machine- perfect for creating fun and silly memories during your mountain escape. A wireless charging pad is also available for all of your smart devices! On this main floor, guests will find two bedrooms located just off of the kitchen, as well as the main floor bathroom.

Bedroom 1, the "Master Rooster," includes a king bed, smart TV, and private entry/exit to the massive wraparound porch. Bedroom 2, "Little Cluckers," includes a queen bed, bunk bed, smart TV, color changing ceiling night light, playpen (stored in closet), and private entry/exit to the massive wraparound porch. Guests will find the main floor bathroom, the "Fluffy Butt Hut," located in between these two bedrooms, which includes a shower/tub combo for the kiddos.

Guests can head downstairs to the "Clucking Den" movie room, which includes a large projector screen, sectional sofa, bean bag chairs, and popcorn machine. Guests will find a laundry facility attached to this movie room that includes a utility sink and Kenmore washer and dryer, stocked with plenty of detergent to wash your soiled clothes after a long hike or ski adventure. Attached to the laundry facility is a small bathroom with a toilet and shower, conveniently located for your kiddos' bathroom emergencies. From the "Clucking Den," guests can head out to the three-car garage game room to enjoy a game of ping-pong, foosball, or darts.

This spacious cabin offers a massive and beautifully decorated wraparound covered porch, with an extended uncovered deck that is affixed with a propane gas grill. On this covered porch, guests can roast marshmallows over the gas firepit table while enjoying the expansive mountain views and frequent wildlife visitors.

With electric heating, a wood stove, and ceiling fans in every room, the cabin stays comfortable year-round. Guests will enjoy an awesome blend of comfort and convenience in this cabin, with free wi-fi, supplied toiletries, and a thoughtfully stocked kitchen and coffee bar.

With each stay guests will be welcomed with a fresh loaf of sourdough bread made by our local Sourdough Dealers!
