« It was a great place for our group to gather to watch the eclipse, and then visit with each other afterwards. Very historic house with potential to be even more grand if renovations continue. The gazebo is nice. The yard would be even better with a garden or flowering trees. We enjoyed exploring the house. So much room! »

« My family and I had such a wonderful time staying at this home away from home! I totally recommend anyone to stay here when they visit Dayton. It wasn’t too far from downtown and there were a few stores in the area. The host accommodated everything that I needed and was responsive to all my messages. My children also loved the game room and it had a tv in every room. Very entertaining for children. »

« We love the decor of the house. The fenced in backyard was so nice for the dogs. The front porch was so relaxing while sitting in a papasan. Sorry that we did not put a request in for toilet paper and paper towels. There was very little of each. There was none under the sink as mentioned. We love the style of the couch and the chairs but they are not comfortable. The bed was comfortable. Maybe a tv in the bedroom. »

« We hosted our son's graduation party at Maple Lane Retreat and it was a hit with all ages! The pond was clean and beautiful. The outdoor seating area was perfect and provided so much additional seating and we enjoyed the scenery. So easy to decorate since magnets are provided. The projector screen was a perfect addition to the party and we were able to show photos the whole time.
