This architect-designed 1955 lakehouse blends timeless mid-century charm with modern amenities. The open-concept great room features vaulted ceilings, floor-to-ceiling windows, and a dramatic double-sided stone fireplace. With 4 bedrooms and multiple gathering spaces inside and out, it’s perfect for families, couples, creatives, and nature lovers alike..

Conservation
Our small, private lake is a special part of the property and home to a limited fish population. To help conserve this peaceful spot for everyone — including future guests — we kindly ask that fishing be catch and release whenever possible.

I give guests plenty of space to relax and unwind, but I’m always available if you need anything.

If there`s anything that could make your stay more comfortable, just let me know—my goal is for this space to feel like a true escape and retreat. I’m available anytime for emergencies, and during regular hours for any non-urgent questions or issues.

It’s super helpful to have good contact info for someone staying at the house, just in case I need to reach out with important updates or to resolve something quickly. If we ever need to stop by, I’ll do my best to let you know ahead of time and will always keep any disruptions to a minimum.

A striking mid-century modern staircase takes you to the lower level. It is visually dramatic, architecturally iconic, and decidedly of its era. While it offers a sculptural focal point, it does not meet today`s safety codes, with minimal railing and wide gaps that reflect vintage design priorities. Young children will need to be supervised.

Unobstructed Views
You’ll notice that we’ve chosen not to add window coverings to the cabin. This was a deliberate choice so that you can fully take in the beautiful nature views right from your windows—morning sunrises, evening sunsets, and everything in between.
To make sure you’re still able to rest comfortably, we provide sleep masks for all guests. If you’re a lighter sleeper, you may also want to bring along your favorite sleep aid to ensure a great night’s sleep.

SEASONAL CANCELLATION POLICY IN PLACE:
SUMMER (May - August):
Cancel up to 30 days before check-in for a full refund
Cancel between 14 and 30 days before check-in, but after the 24-hour cancellation period & receive 50% refund
Cancel less than 14 days before check-in - no refund

WINTER (September - April):
Cancel up to 14 days before check-in for a full refund
Cancel between 7 and 14 days before check-in, but after the 24-hour cancellation period - receive 50%
Cancel less than 7 days before check-in - no refund
Please be sure to review all house rules when booking! Home is located in a peaceful & quiet community. All guests staying at the home must be considerate of others in the neighboring area. Noise disturbances will not be tolerated.(quiet hours are between 10pm-7am)
Extra guest fees will be charged if more than noted guests stay the night as cleaning/laundry costs go up
PLEASE NOTE: the lake is entirely non-motorized, this includes watercraft as well as snowmobiles etc during the winter months.
No parties or events without express permission and payment of additional fees
Please return all furnishings to their original positions
Use only firewood that is provided or firewood you purchase. ABSOLUTELY NO cutting of firewood on the property or adjacent properties is allowed.
No burning of trash or any other materials besides firewood.
All Guests must be registered, if the size of your party changes please contact us
Be gentle with our plumbing, please DO NOT flush anything except toilet paper down the toilet not even “flushable” items
No Smoking of any kind indoors. Smoking is allowed outdoors take care to dispose of any smoking related refuse responsibly - a $200 penalty will be charged for violations or debris discovered and disposed of by our cleaning crew
There is NO garbage disposal; do NOT put food, oil or debris down sink or any drains
For bookings longer than three weeks, guests are required to allow our cleaners to access the cottage approximately every two weeks for maintenance and cleaning. This service is at the guest’s expense.

We’re happy to coordinate and schedule cleanings at a mutually convenient time to ensure minimal disruption to your stay. Thank you for helping us keep the space fresh and well-maintained!
Keep all outdoor fires within the fire ring and no more than five feet tall.
PETS: - We are happy to welcome dogs with additional pet deposit - TWO DOGS MAXIMUM - we can not accommodate cats
PET OWNERS: Please keep your pets off of the furniture and plan to kennel them if they are left alone in the house
PET OWNERS: Please pick up all pet waste (use provided pet waste bags) and dispose in the outdoor trash cans
Plan to supervise your pets carefully and keep them on a leash for their safety. There is abundant wildlife in the area as well as other dogs in the area.
Pets must be included on the reservation and pet fee paid prior to your arrival
We love having your entire group stay. Please be be aware of safety around the lake as well as some cleaning supplies under each of the sinks.
Please be courteous when engaging in outdoor sports - especially mountain biking - and shower before going to bed. Some of the local soil is very mineral rich and those minerals love to stain our bedding. Thank you!
