« Great getaway to the Laurel Mountains. Spotless, clean, quiet and secluded. Easy check in, location is off grid, and away from others. There was work being done on water lines near the property which impacted water pressure. This is beyond the control of the property manager, but before you book, double check to make sure that work is finished, or make the informed decision to book in spite of the friendly notice. No complaints on our end; just wanted to mention the situation for others. Hot Tub...

« The little cottage was just what we were looking for. A couple things that we thought would be nicer was an upgrade of the bed sheets. They were very thin. It was difficult pulling out of the driveway because it’s on a sharp curve and you can’t see. Maybe if some of the shrubs/ trees could be trimmed might help. Everything else was very nice. Highly recommend! »

« We have such a fun stay here! Super clean and a great space! The check in and check out process was so easy and we really appreciated the space! The host was very communicative and we had no issues whatsoever! Can't wait to visit this space again! »

« Remote location with a fantastic view. Many wildlife to observe. The only thing that did not meet expectation is the noise from the main road across the valley. The cabin is still secluded and hard to see from the road when driving. The house and kitchen are stocked with a lot of things. Recommend for a getaway to enjoy God's creation. »

« Cabin is very nice but felt you should include photos of Orndorff cabin in proximity to Schaeffer house. It was not occupied, but if it was, it would have changed our entire trip due to loud talkers in our group around the fire ring. Cleanliness was good except half eaten oreo left on top of refrigerator. Made me wish I would of bought the oreos I was looking at the prior day. Honestly did like the Schaeffer house. »
