« The house was awesome! Lots of room and more than enough bedrooms/bathrooms for three couples to spend a few days together discovering the UP! We explored the area and had a great time! « As our first trip to the UP and randomly choosing Grand Marais and this home to stay in, we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. House is cute, clean and fully equipped with everything you need. The view is gorgeous and water access is a few footsteps away. Robin left some local goodies as a welcome gift and stopped by to introduce herself and had some helpful tips for us. This was just the getaway our family needed. Lots of wonderful memories made this week! »

« The Plover Retreat is an adorable, cozy cabin. Close to downtown Grand Marais and a short drive to Lake Superior and Pictured Bay Rocks National Lakeshore. « The property was beautiful- inside and outside. The house was very clean and organized, and we had any supplies that we could have needed. The view from the back porch was incredible! Seeing sunsets and sunrises from the kitchen window or back porch is something I don’t think I could forget. « This property is wonderful. Fishing off the dock and sunset watching in the evening are just a couple perks. Property is pet friendly and our dog was a happy camper here! The host was wonderful and even offered a kennel if we didn’t want to travel with ours. Close to all the Picture Rocks excursions you may want to do. We would for sure rent again if we come back to the area. And, the bed in the main room was amazing! Best sleep we’ve had in a long time! »

We were only there in the evenings we had campfire each night and at one one night the manager called to let us know that the northern lights were hitting and we jumped in the car, went about a mile away, and got fabulous pictures of the northern lights overall it was perfect. It was right in the middle of where we wanted to go. Rock hounding, and waterfall chasing. We would do it again. »
