Sortir avec Moose! Log Cabin prĂšs de RMNP / Columbine Lake

Notre cabane en bois rond a un emplacement idéal privé niché dans un bosquet de trembles à quelques minutes de Grand Lake. Nous sommes à quelques pas de Columbine Lake, 45 acres privé lac naturel juste à l'extérieur Rocky Mountain National Park. Ceci est l'endroit parfait pour des vacances en famille, escapade romantique, ou une réunion avec des amis. Notre emplacement sauvegarde sur terrain boisé privé, permettant beaucoup d'intimité et une abondance de la faune à venir prÚs de la cabine, y compris Moose, Deer, Fox, et Elk. Nous sommes situés sur une impasse avec les voisins d'un seul cÎté. Rocky Mountain National Park est à 1 mile away et le village de Grand Lake est juste un lecteur quelques minutes.

L'intĂ©rieur de la cabine offre un plan d'Ă©tage ouvert avec des plafonds voĂ»tĂ©s dans la grande salle. poutres en rondins naturels soutiennent le grenier Ă  l'Ă©tage et un garde-corps de journal suit les escaliers et Ă  travers le grenier, en lui donnant une touche rustique. À l'Ă©tage principal est la 2Ăšme chambre avec lit queen, salle de bain complĂšte avec douche et buanderie, cuisine entiĂšrement Ă©quipĂ©e, salle Ă  manger, une grande chambre et un espace bar. A l'Ă©tage, vous trouverez une salle de bain complĂšte avec douche / baignoire, grande chambre des maĂźtres avec un lit king size journal et lits superposĂ©s, et le loft avec un lit gigogne qui sert de la troisiĂšme chambre. Le loft offre l'intimitĂ© du reste de la cabine et ouvre sur le balcon extĂ©rieur.

Dans la soirĂ©e, un feu dans le foyer extĂ©rieur et regarder les Ă©toiles au-dessus. bancs rustiques en bois entourent la fosse d'incendie ainsi que des chaises Adirondack. Veuillez noter que le bois de chauffage peut ne pas ĂȘtre disponible dans la cabine et peut ĂȘtre achetĂ© en ville. Si vous prĂ©voyez d'amener votre chien, les animaux de compagnie bien Ă©levĂ©s seront considĂ©rĂ©s et des frais pour animaux de compagnie seront appliquĂ©s Ă  votre rĂ©servation si elle est approuvĂ©e.

Grand Lake est une destination toute l'annĂ©e. Pendant l'Ă©tĂ©, vous pouvez profiter de la navigation de plaisance sur les 3 lacs (Grand Lake, Shadow Mountain Lake, et le lac Granby), randonnĂ©e pĂ©destre, VTT, VTT, 4Ăšme juillet feux d'artifice, et la liste continue. Pendant les mois d'hiver ce domaine est la capitale de la motoneige du Colorado avec plus de 100 miles de pistes damĂ©es. choix de ski sont nombreux entre Ski Granby Ranch Ă  proximitĂ©, Winter Park et le lĂ©gendaire poudre de champagne de Steamboat Springs. Peut-ĂȘtre la plus grande annĂ©e tirage du tour de la zone est Rocky Mountain National Park avec elle des paysages Ă©tonnants et de l'abondance de la faune.

Family Stay

The cabin is clean and orderly. It was very easy to find what we were looking for. The location is convenient, just a 10 min drive into Grand Lake and about 15 minutes to entrance of RMNP. Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay! We even got to see a mother and baby moose right before we left! Scott was super helpful and promptly responded to our questions. We highly recommend this property!

Beautiful large cabin. Everything we needed was there. Every moring and most afternoons, we had moose and deer in the yard. Such a beautiful area. Close to yown and entrance to the park. Definitely recommend!

Amazing getaway

Scott’s cabin was PERFECT! The weather turned on us and the snow was so beautiful! The wood stove kept us perfectly warm! When Berthoud Pass was closed down the day we were to leave, Scott graciously allowed us to stay one more night! Although we didn’t see any Moose this time, we’re already making plans to come back!

Wonderful stay at Columbine Lake cabin!

We thoroughly enjoyed our wintertime stay at this cozy cabin, including skiing at Winter Park, exploring Grand Lake village, and snowshoeing in RMNP. The cabin is perfect - beautiful setting, clean, spacious, and great amenities. It had everything we needed. Communication with Scott was great as well. 5 stars all around!

A Quiet Paradise

The Hanging with Moose Cabin is absolute Heaven, it was our first time to the Grand Lake area looking for a quieter side of the mountain, we normally stay in Estes Park every year but it's so busy and over crowded. Grand Lake is so much more laid back and relaxing. This Cabin is nestled in a private community that is so quiet and beautiful with nice and friendly neighbors. The Cabin has every thing you could possibly need and more and it's so cozy and comfortable and very easy access to RMNP, there is even a walking path into the Park not far from the Cabin. We took many walks around the private lake. The Host communicates with you often which is a very special touch, I think that is due to him actually owning the property unlike other VRBO's I have rented are managed by a Management team. This Cabin would be perfect for a Family with children with all the extra added touches that is geared towards children. You are so close to the Park a timed entry is not really needed cause getting into the Park before 9 with no lines is so doable. Just a small tip if you stay in this Cabin stock up on provisions in Granby at the City Market there are 2 markets in Grand Lake but very very pricey, I am all for supporting local businesses but not at those prices. Restaurants in Town are the same so we stocked up on groceries and cooked our meals. We did have an awesome meal at the Sagebrush, service and food was excellent but a meal for 3 was over $127. The Cabin was Amazing!!!!

Great cabin in great location

The cabin is in a serene location with lots of birdwatching and wildlife in the area. Beautiful walks around Lake Columbine! RMNP is just around the corner! The cabin was very clean, with a fully equipped kitchen. There were plenty of pots and pans to cook or bake about anything you want. The owner is very responsive and shared good info about the area including grocery store options. Also the king size bed in the master BR upstairs was very comfortable.

Wildlife Haven

Beautiful surroundings; abundance of wildlife and excellent stargazing from upper balcony and driveway. Something about this property is so tranquil. You can feel your heart rate and breathing slow down. The cabin is equipped with everything you could possibly need. We have stretched our annual stay to 10 days because this place is so accommodating. Accessibility for wheelchair is a bonus.

The moose were out!!!

What a great place to stay, within easy driving distance to RMNP, Grand Lake, Granby, etc. We saw cow moose and calves several times during our stay including one day when the cow bedded down in our yard (doesn't get much better than that!!!). Evening drives up the Kewaunechee Valley yielded elk and moose in large numbers. Scott was incredibly responsive and helpful, made our stay very comfortable.

Spectacular stay!

The location was perfect, just a short distance from all the fun and activities the area has to offer. Whether it was hiking, boating, or exploring the charming town, everything was easily accessible. The cabin's layout was incredibly family-friendly, providing plenty of space for everyone to relax and enjoy. The kids loved having their own area to play, and the open-plan living space made it easy for us all to spend quality time together. Communication with the property manager, Scott, was excellent. He was always quick to respond and provided helpful information about the cabin. His attentiveness made our stay even more enjoyable. One of the highlights of our stay was the stunning views of moose roaming the property. It was a unique and unforgettable experience to watch these majestic animals in their natural habitat from the comfort of our cabin. Overall, our stay was fantastic, and we would highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a perfect getaway near Grand Lake.

Perfect location, close to the national park. Grand Lake is an awesome little town. Scott was a great host and the cabin is in perfect condition. We saw moose and baby moose every day. The fire pit and stars were incredible. Can’t go wrong with this place!

Easter in Grand Lake

We enjoyed the cabin and it provided well for all of us. We were able to seat 9 people around the dining room table and the kitchen was stocked with table wear and pots and pans. The cabin is located in a charming neighborhood and my husband and I enjoyed several walks around the lake. The golf course next door provided for some Nordic skiing and free sledding for the grandkids. Everyone enjoyed staying at the cabin.

Christmas in the Rockies

The cabin was situated in a mountain neighborhood, but if felt like we were in the middle of the woods all by ourselves. When we arrived the cabin looked like Christmas as it had recently snowed and when we entered we were greeted with a beautiful open concept cabin which was even decorated for the Holiday. We made a several meals, watched football and played games during our stay and it was so peaceful. We want to visit this cabin again!!!

Holiday Getaway!! 🩃🎄

A perfectly relaxing and cozy cabin in the woods! Our family of 7 plus 2 dogs were very comfortable and well taken care of during our 4 night stay. Our Thanksgiving feast was easily prepared with all of the kitchen necessities available. We enjoyed a short walk to Columbine Lake and a brisk walk around the neighborhood with breathtaking views all around! Conveniently located just a short drive to Grand Lake Village to partake in all that it has to offer was also very nice. Waking up to fresh snow was a treat and added to the enjoyment of a crackling fire. Each room was comfortable and provided exactly what we needed to get some rest for a new day. Great location!

Right outside the park! As we arrived we heard elk bugling. We went early morning and evening to the park to see the wildlife and it couldn’t be more convenient. The home is well stocked with all necessities. We especially enjoyed all the extra kitchen utensils so we could prepare full meals. We also appreciated Scott checking on us during the week. Definitely recommend this cabin to anyone wanting to experience the park on the quiet side!

Perfect Stay in Grand Lake

This cabin provided the perfect place to stay for our visit to the west side of RMNP. Its location was only a mile to the national park entrance and also to the town of Grand Lake. The cabin was very spacious, clean and felt like a true mountain home away from home for our family. We loved the quiet neighborhood and took walks around Columbine Lake and on the other trails close by. Scott was very accommodating and ensured we had everything we needed at check in and during our stay. Overall, it was a perfect visit to Grand Lake. We would highly recommend Scott's property and hope to visit again ourselves!
