Thank you for sharing your lovely house with us! There was plenty of room for my family. Suoer quiet, and it had everything we could of asked for.

Home was cute, conditions were not

Overall, the home was cute and cozy, providing ample space for the family. However, the conditions of the home did not meet expectations. Upon arrival, we noticed that the home was hot (it was nearly 88 degrees outside and 82 inside the house). It was evident that the A/C was not working. I have a painful heat rash condition and my mother has Multiple Sclerosis which make having A/C crucial. We contacted the front desk and they stated that the homeowners believed the A/C had been fixed but knew there was a problem. The issue was not addressed during our 3 day stay and on the 3rd day, a portable unit was brought to us however, they forgot a hose so it was unusable. This meant we had to spend majority of our time away from the home, waiting for it to cool off a night. Additionally there were bugs and spiders everywhere. Not just a few sprinkled throughout but all over the home (dead & alive). One of the bathrooms also had hair all over the floor and appeared to have not really been cleaned. We contacted the Visit Fruita team after our departure requesting a partial refund for the A/C issue and their team was quite rude stating that broken A/C is not their problem and they felt they had addressed it while we were there.
