« The home was very dated, the furnace didn't work, the dishwasher didn't work. The homeowner disclosed the furnace not working on the day we traveled 5 1/2 hours to the home. There were other heat sources (heat pump in the primary bedroom, pellet stove in the living room and heat pump in the kitchen); however, fuel odors forced my husband and I to leave the large primary bedroom and my best friend to sleep on the couch. « Where do I begin? This home was absolutely beautiful, pristine, everything was brand spanking new and done with such care and thought. The view of the lake was simply gorgeous, and we had so many wonderful memories made … a sunset “cruise” with our kayaks, watching a family of loons (6 babies!) and geese visit our beach, a night of s’mores around the fire, the moon reflecting off the water, and stargazing on the dock.
