« 3rd time staying here - love the house and position is great to explore the lizard. Damp was really bad this year - walls were wet and mouldy in places and kitchen cupboards very musty - cleaners were great coming out and cleaning up some of the mould. Probably damp build up if it had been shut up for a while. But we always enjoy our stay - beds comfy and loads of room for our family and little dog »

« Such a wonderful property, and the rooms are so very clean and comfortable. We slept so well, and were treated quite nicely. Kate is such a lovely host, and her brekkie is top-notch. We enjoyed chatting with her as we ate, and found her delightful and helpful. The farm setting is so peaceful (for us guest that is, a lot of hard work for owners), and the location is great for visiting the Lizard and other places around south Cornwall. Thank you much for such a great stay! »

« Les deux chambres que nous avons louées avaient vue sur un toit pour l'une et sur un mur pour l'autre. L'une sentait très mauvais (retour d'égout) et le couloir pour y accéder était encombré par les sacs de lingerie. Etablissement très bruyant. Rien à voir avec les photos et la description sur le site. Il faut sortir de l'établissement pour voir le port et la mer. Parking pas forcément assuré premier arrivé premier servi. »

« Darren at reception was really lovely, the lady who served us breakfast in the morning was very lovely and accommodating. The hotel dog ran up to us barking as we were leaving, which was a bit alarming. The bedroom was simple and clean. Unfortunately the hotel has an awful smell, even in the bedrooms, like damp or mouldy carpets. A bee was in our room, luckily my husband was able to get it out. I appreciate it is an old historic building, but a deep clean and refresh of the carpets might help. »

« Breakfast has been scaled down in selection, quality & service and seemed disorganised. Also, as a vegan, there is very little available on the buffet table though I acknowledge they offer a cooked vegan breakfast which is good if you want hot. The granola which I like had run out & I couldn't find a member of staff free to inform them so went without. It would be a thoughtful touch if biscuits in the room were dairy & egg free just to cater fr a wider clientele. »

« Das Meeresrauschen war vom Zimmer aus zu hören und das gesamte Haus hat einen tollen Charme. Die schönste und besonderste Unterkunft unserer Cornwall Reise. Man fühlt sich wie daheim und es ist alles sauber gewesen. Es wurde erst vor kurzem renoviert. Man teilt sich die Küche bzw das ganze Haus mit Shelley und ihrem süßen Hund. Parken ging ohne Probleme vor der Tür. Das Community Frühstück lässt keine Wünsche offen: Müsli, Scones, frische Croissants, Obst, … Im Bad bräuchte es...

« L’hôtel se situe au bord de l’eau dans un très joli jardin il dispose d’un bar et d’un très bon restaurant.le pertinent déjeuner était inclus contrairement à ce dit hôtel.com. Les chambres sont belles et tout est neuf. Personnel très gentil »

« Cet hôtel, non dénué de charme, refuse la modernité pour vous laissez sejourner dans une atmosphère un peu surannée mais non dénué d'un certain charme. Propreté et service sans reproche ainsi que la superficie des chambres. Petit dejeuner standard. Voiture recommandée pour les déplacements vers le centre ville. »

« Séjour merveilleux : le personnel est adorable et cet hôtel a une charme suranné incroyable. Il manque de rafraîchissement par endroits, et le mobilier des chambres est un peu datée, mais tout est très propre et confortable. Un grand soucis est porté à la gestion des allergies. »
