  • Still Waters is a beautiful six-bedroom home located five minutes by water from Hales Ford Bridge in Bedford County with deep water, good swimming, and great bass fishing from the dock.

    Access to the lake is from the lower level of the home, with steps leading to the shared dock and floating sun dock. There you will find a covered sitting area, picnic tables, a swing, a paddleboat, and kayaks for your use - as well as cleats to tie up your boat. The boat slips are rented out, so occasionally there may be people parking at the home to access their boats. There is space on the floater to dock one boat. There is electric on the dock.

    On the lower level is a 17-seat 1960s-era theater room for watching your favorite shows, movies, and gaming - all in true HD 1080p on a large 10' projection screen. Inputs are provided, so bring your gaming console or other devices. The lower level also offers a full bath and two large bedrooms that each walk out onto private patios. There are ping-pong and air hockey tables on this level, as well as a treadmill and cardio glide.

    The main level of this contemporary home offers a well-equipped kitchen with a double oven, an adjoining dining area, and a living room with a TV and plenty of windows providing wonderful views of the water. The two main-level primary suites walk out to their own decks overlooking the lake. One features an antique claw-foot tub and a standalone shower.

    The upper level has a game area with an assortment of books, movies, and board games, one full bathroom, and two bedrooms. One bedroom has a TV/DVR/VCR, while the other has a TV and a PlayStation with games.

    Max occupancy is 12 people over the age of two years old (county and state law).
    Dock Details: Limit 1 boat can be docked during stay.
    BOAT LIFTS NOT FOR GUEST USE.
    Two of the boat slips are shared and those renters have full access to the dock, as well as parking spaces at the home.

The home was beautiful and had all the amenities you would want especially traveling with children. It was spotless and decorated with a combination of modern furniture and local antiques that made us feel at home. The kids 3-5-7 years old couldn’t get enough of the lake and jumping off the dock. We loved family movie night in the adorable theater with the striped bags of popcorn. The homemade apple butter brought me back to my childhood of watching my granny making it in a cast iron cauldron in her backyard. The home was even more spacious than it looks in the photos. Thank you for a wonderful weekend.

We had a great stay in this home for Thanksgiving. Plenty of room for everyone to spread out, but also plenty of gathering places. We especially loved hanging out on the dock and soaking in some warm weather, and the theater room was a hit, as well.

We had a great time during our stay here and thoroughly enjoyed the game and movie room but kitchen appliances need replacing. I would have given more stars had the refrigerator and dishwasher been in better working order. Numerous missing or broken shelves in the refrigerator and the inside of the dishwasher was covered in mold and smelled terrible while running. It was gross, and I wasn’t sure at all we should be using it. Didn’t seem healthy. Not sure these conditions will give you many repeat customers.

We had 5 couples stay in the house over NYE weekend and we absolutely loved the house. Plenty of space with everything we needed.. The gaming area, theatre room and lake views were fantastic. Would stay again!

Highly recommend for big families for a little get away.
