« The property has been in the owners family since the 1500s. The place was rustic and quaint. Very quiet. It is literally in the middle of the woods. We were there for Ironman race in Lahti, so it was a bit far out for the event. There is limited accommodations in Lahti for an event this size. As a result we just slept there and kept our things there. The price was reasonable for the property. The only issue we had was with Interhome who is the manager of the rental. « The house was really nice. The sauna is big, rooms are spaceiouse and there is a ladder into the ocean. There is a fire alarm in the open living room, kitchen area, so be careful cooking, for we triggered it once. There are neighbours close by, so if you seek isolation this place wont do. But all in all it was a pleasant stay. »

« The house was just as described, and absolutely lovely. It had everything we could have needed, a well equipped kitchen, bbq, hot tub, there was nothing we needed that wasn’t there. Beautiful spot, spectacular views, perfect. We spent a week in Helsinki first, then came here for some down time. Just lovely. Our host was very speedy with communications so all good! »
