Not a nice experience

It felt as if we were staying in a Nursing Home, not a hotel. My husband and I were cross as the rating given,it does not reflect the quality of the hotel in any way. From the small double bed which had a cheap mattress which kept us awake all night, the fact that they had forgone complimentary water in the room for environment reasons, tap water would be supplied, the bathroom had black mould growing in the mastic around the bath the plughole of the bath was old and dirty, the non slip bathmat was old and dirty, not a nice experience.

A night stay in the Surrey hills

we had a good stay at the hotel, the room (No1) was spacious, quiet, comfortable, has good bathroom. the staff were friendly and helpful. the building had character. we enjoyed the breakfast too. we stayed at this hotel since it is close to family.

Fab service!

The service at this hotel was among the best I've ever had and the food in the restaurant was incredible! Definitely eat here! Only negatives were that the gym could do with better equipment and the bedroom was way too hot with no aircon.

I like to stay at this hotel when in the area, it makes a change from the chains. Lovely building, well used and has all required facilities. Bedrooms a bit tired but clean and comfortable

Shame to not get the little things right

There was about 4 sheets of toilet paper in the room.... Of all things to not have in the room after a very late check in. Then to top it off there were electrical noises waking me up all night! A great shame because the hotel is lovely and room is very comfortable.

Great hotel but no Beans.

All my co workers liked it. Especially the ones in the older part of the building. Did get a few comments regarding no beans at the breakfast.

Great hotel in a rural location

Stayed 2 night whilsy away from home. Hotel facilities are good: generous room size, gym, restaurant/bar menus provide a reasonable range of dishes, good breakfast choices. The hotel is located in a quiet location and you would need a car if you want to venture out and about.

Bra hotell för arbete i mysigt område

Bra hotell för att jobba ifrån, rymliga rum, trevligt skrivbord med utsikt över skogen och dalen, rådjur utanför fönstret, fint vackert gammalt hus. Bra engelsk frukost. Tyvärr där på en söndag då de inte hade varm mat i restaurangen utan endast mackor i baren, men det gick ner med en god lokal öl.
