Luxury Mountain Top Cabin with Stunning Views

Sky High Lodge is an updated mountain top escape located on 35 acres of private land. This spacious and modern cabin atop lookout mountain is 25 min to the famous Glenwood hot springs and downtown Glenwood Springs, and one hour from Aspen. High vaulted ceilings and three story windows display 180 degree panoramic views of the jaw dropping Roaring Fork valley and the dramatic Mount Sopris. This is a dream mountain getaway!

This house was beautiful with absolutely breathtaking views! We did not pay attention to the fact that there was no air conditioning at the property but with the breeze ontop of the mountains, that was not an issue. They also had portable air conditioners available for us to use upstairs at night. There were a couple differences from the listing that were quickly explained to us by the owner. Communication was wonderful, he was prompt to respond and addressed any questions we had. The grill was not in great condition so we avoided using it but everything else was perfect!

Absolutely stunning

The views were breathe taking. We found the house to be very clean, well stocked, and beautifully decorated. From the fireplace to the hot tub it was awesome! I would definitely take the advice to stokk up on groceries if you are not accustomed to mountain driving. A perfect 10!

Beautiful Property - Be Sure to Take the Longer Route

Beautiful Property! Be sure to take the alternate route via Google maps to avoid the narrow dirt road along a cliff. House and property are amazing - would recommend late spring, summer, and early fall... elevation is roughly 8800 feet. Definitely use the alternate Google Maps route and you'll save yourself from biting your finger nails :)

Our stay was magical! The views from the balcony is stunning. The property is beautiful. The comfort and aesthetic of the home makes you feel like you are in a cabin oasis. I would absolutely stay again. We enjoyed the location of this home just far enough away but close enough to get to many fun things!

We had a magical stay in Sky High. Snow everyday…beautiful big flakes. We hiked,played games, watched NBA finals, cooked meals for 7, visited Glenwood Springs for a birthday meal, shopped, and did have time to relax in the hot tub with the snow falling! The house and property are perfect! Would love to stay again in the fall!

Wonderful mountain retreat

We loved our week here! So nice to be able to drive to fun places near by (we went to Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park one day, to Iron Mountain hotsprings another day), but also get away to this private and quiet oasis! Movie nights were also so fun with with huge TV with great WiFi. Dirt road seems a little long at first, but within a few days it was no problem and we grew to enjoy the drive. Thankful for the family time we had in this beautiful home.

The Top

This home was top notch! It started with a beautiful drive up the hill and crested with an unbelievable sprawling view of the surrounding peaks and valley. The furnishings were very tasteful, comfortable and fit the home. We enjoyed our time here and will definitely be back! A secret worth keeping but something amazing to share. Amazing Mountain Getaway Outside of Glenwood

My family and I stayed at the house over Labor Day weekend. We had a wonderful time! Great views and weather. It was far enough away from downtown Glenwood to enjoy staying in nature, yet close enough to take advantage of the fun things to do in town. Enjoyed the hot tub and pool table on property. The kitchen was easy to navigate and had a good variety of pots and pans to prep meals. My husband is an avid mountain biker. I was able to shuttle him to trails on the mountain that were 10 minutes from the house. He loved that!

Views for days!

This house did not disappoint for the amenities and views. The long trip up the mountain was totally worth it and once you are there you don’t need to leave. The kitchen is very well equipped for cooking in and thee hot tub and fire pit come with the same beautiful view. I hope to visit again soon!

Best Stay Ever

This house and property are simply amazing, and the views from any spot are breathtaking! This place had everything we could want...a kitchen with everything you would need to prepare any meal, bedrooms with nice, comfortable beds and pillows, and a hottub set in the perfect location just outside the back door! Very clean house, great host who was communicative and responsive to all messages...cannot wait to stay again!

Amazing & away from it sll

We are a family of 4 with 1 extra teenager and were visiting for a mountain bike race. This beautiful home fit all our needs. The180 degree is beautiful and you really are on top of the mountain. The stars and milky way at night is breathtaking! The home is very well maintained and cared for. The interior is up to date and beautiful. The kitchen is very well stocked for cooking. Kids loved it too with horse shoes, hot tub & pool table. Patrick was responsive and very helpful. We have used VRBO all over the US & abroad. I would say this was one of our favorites as the owners did not miss anything to accommodate their guests…even dog treats for the pups!

Beautiful inside and out.

Sky High Lodge is exactly that. The views will ruin you. You’ll never want to stay anywhere else in the Glenwood area. The interior of the house is new, clean and designed beautifully.
