Cabin 12 Remodeled Rustic Luxury Kitchen Fireplace

Relax in our newly remodeled A-frame cabin with all the amenities you need to enjoy a weekend in Glenwood Springs! Beautiful mountain views off the back deck, an indoor gas fireplace, and a fully stocked kitchen add to the ambiance of this stylish 1960s cabin. Located just minutes from downtown Glenwood at the historic Ponderosa Lodge. Queen bed, cable and internet TV, glass enclosed shower with a smooth-stone floor, full-size stove, microwave, coffee maker (coffee, sugar and creamer too!)

*This is NOT a pet-friendly cabin! Please check with us for pet-friendly cabins! Each cabin has been remodeled, and has a fresh twist on an old cabin. Decor will vary slightly, but we call our style "Rustic Luxury". There is a small kitchen with cooking essentials, refrigerator, stove, coffee machine and coffee, plates, cups and bowls for TWO, and a small dining area. Each cabin also has Wi-Fi, cable TV, and A/C. All cabins are quaint and cozy!

Guests may use the common areas and laundry room freely. Please respect other guests and keep noise to a minimum after 10 pm (especially outside!!)

We are available any time need arises- just give us a call! Emergency numbers are posted in the cabins. There is also a full-time on-site if you need immediate assistance.

The Ponderosa Cabins are spread out over 2 acres, right off of Highway 6 (parallel to I-70) in West Glenwood Springs. Historic and iconic, this property feels like a little oasis in the city- and if you overlook the nearby hotels and roads, you might even feel like you are staying in a remote mountain getaway! Located about 2-3 minutes from the Iron Mountain Hot Springs Pool and Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park, 3-5 minutes to downtown Glenwood Springs and the Glenwood Hot Springs Pool, and the Amtrack train station.

Private parking for each cabin (labeled). There is a Valley Taxi service, limited Uber/Lyft options, and a local bus that has a stop nearby (called "Ride Glenwood").

The Ponderosa Cabins, est.1939, offer their own kitchenettes, clean and well-appointed cabins for guests to enjoy the best of Glenwood Springs, with downtown being less than a 5-minute drive. Near the Glenwood Adventure Park and Hot Springs, amongst 17 total cabins on a 2-acre property, this location will soon be a destination for Western-style weddings, and large family retreats (coming soon!).
If you use the stove please leave it tidy and wash all dishes used. Leave and drying rack on countertop.

ABSOLUTELY NO SMOKING ALLOWED INSIDE CABINS ($500 FINE IF VIOLATED!! This includes CANDLES, VAPES, MARIJUANA, CIGARETTES, CIGARS, INCENSE, ETC

Also, all towels, bedding, linens are to remain in the apartment at all times - towels are NOT for pool use!! If violated, we will charge $25 per towel (chlorine and minerals from the pool can destroy our towels!). You may rent towels at the Hot Springs directly.

Very clean. Great remodel with awesome attention to detail. Supplied lots of thoughtful things to make the stay pleasant. Bed and sheets were nice. Quiet, even with being close to the road. Really enjoyed cabin 12 with the fireplace. Would stay here again.

The cabin had everything you need for a perfect stay. It came equipped with utensils, pots, pans, cups, etc. it was perfect for mine and my husbands anniversary and super romantic. The hosts were so sweet. The location is perfect. Such an amazing little place and I am so glad we found it. I can’t wait to go back.

Super cozy with modern updates! Super close by. Great communication from staff even with having to deal with a challenging issue on my end. I can’t say enough about this place and I’d give 10 stars if I could. I can’t imagine a better place to stay for any visit to Glenwood Springs area.

Loved this cabin. Gave such a cozy feeling. Definitely will be back. Super clean, had everything you may need to make your own dinners/breakfast. We booked for a day at the hot springs pools & it felt like it was a minute drive so that was one of my favorite things about this cabin. Instructions were so simple so it was very easy to check in & check out. for the price everything was perfect & definitely will recommend to friends & family.

Such an awesome A Frame cabin! My wife thought it was so cute. The decorations were perfect! It is equiped with everything you need to spend a weekend or longer in the Glenwood springs area. I would for sure comeback.

Glenwood Canyon Revisited

We totally enjoyed our A-frane getaway! Surprisingly quiet for being near the hwy. Loved being able to relax on the deck with a great cup of coffee in the am & cold bev in the evening. Checkin info was prompt, easy to get into our cooled cabin (much appreciated), it was a hot day in GS! The ceiling fan was all we needed to get a great sleep in the comfy bed. We easily had what was needed to prepare our breakfasts and pack our lunches to take with on our day adventures. We were within walking distance for food or take the bus into town. The shower was great, easily rinsed my hair- factor i always look for! Parking was close and we felt very secure. Wish we lived closer so we could stay again! Our hosts were wonderful, great chatting with and so very helpful with our questions. Thank-you Luis, Ktisti & family!

Glamping at its BEST!

It sounds odd, but this awesome property sits right on the highway on a lot between businesses. (They were there first, it was out of town in the 1930's!) There are just enough trees and green space to feel like a tiny camp in town. Cabins and A-frames with Ponderosa TV Show theme names. Cabins have a parking between each. Inside is very nice and private. Outside/on the deck (LOVED the deck) or by the fire pit is social. Very welcoming, comfortable & friendly atmosphere. Minutes from literally everything in Glenwood Springs. Very reasonably priced, especially for what you get! Local family owned and run. Quick responses to texts for towels, etc. Could easily stay for extended time. The gas dual-oven range is nicer than mine! Oh that shower! Highly recommended! Enjoy!

Wonderful stay!

This is our second time booking and we had a wonderful stay. Cabins are as pictured/described and communicating with property owners was very easy with quick responses. We will definitely be booking again for our weekend getaways to the hot springs!
