« Location! Location! Location! A very welcoming and safe accommodations. As two women traveling, this was very important that we felt safe and comfortable. Having our bedroom windows opened allowed us to hear the sound of a nearby brook and owls thru the night. Mike, the host was amazing and went over and beyond to make sure we were enjoying ourselves. I included a pic of a sunset taken from the porch. We plan to return. Thanks Mike! »

« The house was beautiful. Very clean. Its an old home and really offered the comfortablè, family feel I was looking for. The mountain views along the main highway are amazing. I will say this; if you're into haunted houses this place definitely offers the spooky. We experienced several things that gave us the creeps, that to us, was very cool. Overall, the stay was 100%. Everything we needed was supplied. Specifics were labled. Plenty of room. Friendly animals. Will definitely try...

« My wife and I absolutely loved this yurt! We intended to spend a few days in the Brevard/Pisgah area and saw this available for a long weekend. It looked nice enough so we booked, and when we arrived it honestly exceeded our expectations. Very cozy, comfortable, clean, and the kitchen/bathroom was very well done. « We have stayed in this little cottage multiple times. I will say I did notice the wall in the bathroom. They have some water damage near the toilet area. It might need some repairs of course it did not bother our stay. I just noticed it. »

« The house was just as in the pictures. Being able to use the garage was paramount because we were on motorcycles and we had some storms during our stay. The real star of the show was our host. The communication was outstanding with quick answers to any questions, thoughtful messages prior to our stay, and following up to ensure there were no issues. »

« We had a great time at this property and very convenient to town and close to other towns to visit . We had to cut our time short but I am sure if were ever go back to Sylva NC this would be a place I would rent again. Everyone was very friendly. »

« Our stay was Sept 12-14, the apt is cute as can be! So many unique, fun touches! Easy to fin, easy parking, great location with many walkable restaurants. Comfy bed, everything needed is easy to find. Thanks for a great stay, we would stay there again!! »

« We had an amazing time!!!!! The house is perfect for entertaining. It even has a pizza oven in the outdoor fire area! We loved playing darts while having a fire at night. The beds were very soft. For some who prefer a harder bed that might be a problem. The house is situated in a neighborhood but a quiet part of the neighborhood. We will definitely be back! »

« Cabin was perfect. Clean, accurately depicted in listing. Decorated super nice. Host was extremely responsive (normally within 5-10 mins) would certainly stay here again. Gave all five stars because six wasn’t a choice !! »

« The best dog friendly rental we have stayed in so far. The house was clean, the beds comfortable, nicely updated and the rustic decor charming. Scaly mountain is between Highlands NC and Dillard Ga, so close enough either way to enjoy shopping and restaurants but rural enough to feel like you live in the country. Lots of dog friendly hiking trails nearby. Loved the front porch with its swing and cool evenings, and the fire pit. Definitely recommend. »
