Sip coffee as Wombat Hill wakes up, chase waterfalls at Trentham Falls, and hit the Daylesford Sunday Market before returning to your cozy deckside.
A comfortable 139-square-foot tiny home, perfect for two people, featuring easy access to water, split-system air conditioning, a kitchenette with cooking equipment, and excellent bathroom facilities. These include an eco-friendly cassette toilet, hand basin, and a gas-heated shower—ensuring you have even more cozy holiday homes to enjoy.

Guest Access:
Guests will have access to the tiny home, its immediate surroundings, and the entire 10-acre property—except for the private main house area.

Golden Hour Hideaway by Tiny Away is set in the peaceful Glenlyon countryside, just 8 minutes from Daylesford. Enjoy open skies, rolling farmland, and fresh country air—no city noise, just golden fields, the occasional kangaroo, and some of the top local attractions in the Daylesford region.
Lake Daylesford is a serene man-made lake, Hepburn Springs is famous for its natural mineral springs, and The Daylesford Sunday Market offers local goods and produce. Wombat Hill Botanic Gardens feature a lush fernery, picnic areas, and a lookout tower with beautiful views.
And don’t miss Trentham Falls—the highest single-drop waterfall in Central Victoria.
Getting Around:
By Car:
- 90 minutes from Melbourne
- Accessible by 2WD
By Public Transport:
- No direct public transport, driving required
- 8-minute drive to Daylesford
- Taxis available but must be booked well in advance (hosts can assist with transport)
By Flight:
- Nearest major airport: Melbourne Airport (Tullamarine), 90 minutes by car
- Car rental recommended for flexibility
Other Things to Note:
- WiFi is available
- Smoking is not allowed on the property
- No pets, as we are on a farm with animals
- No unregistered guests or visitors are allowed
- Expect tractor usage and farming activities from time to time
- Mobile reception has good signal for Telstra; weak signal for the rest
- Gas BBQ grill is available, except for total fire bans. Please clean it after use.
- The area does experience power outages on occasion. We recommend you bring a torch.
- We would like to advise guests that longer stays or later check-outs will incur an additional charge
Guest Advisory
- Kindly leave shoes outside in the covered box to keep the tiny home clean.
- As you will be on a farm we recommend bringing a pair of gumboots or bluestones during your stay
- Please take your rubbish with you and separate it properly. Use the bins at the front gate—yellow for recycling, red for general waste.
Important note:
- The fire pit is to be used only from June to October
- Due to the nature of the property, abundant wildlife may be present in the surrounding areas
- For stays of 5 nights or more, an additional cleaning fee will be collected to help maintain our cassette toilet and ensure a clean and fresh experience for all guests. We appreciate your understanding.
