Hawks Nest Hideaway - 2 Bed 2 Bath - Screened In Deck

Welcome to your home away from home while exploring the natural beauty of northern Michigan. This newly renovated 2-bed/2-bath condo has been thoughtfully designed with comfort and style in mind. Hangout in the family room with ample seating and a smart TV with cable and streaming apps. Relax on the screened-in patio among the pines, with peek-a-boo views of Lake Michigan. Enjoy home cooked meals in a fully stocked kitchen. Location is perfect for easy access to everything the area has to offer!

THE SPACE:

This ground-floor level condo is a part of the Hawks Nest community at the Homestead Resort in Glen Arbor. It's the perfect place to stay, right in the heart of northern Michigan's all-season playground. Everything in the condo is brand new as it was just renovated in 2023. Lounge in the family room with plenty of comfortable seating, or enjoy a relaxing evening on the screened-in porch listening to the waves of Lake Michigan.

The kitchen has new appliances and is stocked with everything you'll need to cook a gourmet meal. Enjoy fresh coffee in the morning using the Keurig or French press. The living room is furnished with stylish and comfortable furniture, and a Smart TV with cable and all your favorite streaming apps. All you have to do is log into your accounts.

Both bedrooms will provide you with a wonderful nights sleep on brand new mattresses, and crisp comfortable sheets. This condo will sleep a maximum of 6 guests, with 1 queen bed, 2 twin beds, and a queen sleeper sofa. Although we can accommodate up to 6 guests, please note our unit is cozy and it will be quite tight for any more than 4 adults. The fully equipped bathrooms (1 upstairs, 1 downstairs) have everything you need: soft fluffy towels, soap, shampoo, conditioner, lotion, and a hair dryer.

If you plan on heading to the beach or enjoying other outdoor activities, we have an outdoor "Ski Closet" that can be used for storing your adventure equipment, coolers, beach chairs, etc. We kindly ask that you DO NOT store these items inside the condo.

Our condo is unique, and has some quirks you should know about:

- No A/C, but enjoy cool evening breezes coming off the lake. We also have a dehumidifier and offer fans for air circulation.
- No washer/dryer, but we do offer a clothes drying rack and an iron/ironing board.
- The condo uses electric heat, and heat registers are very hot to the touch when in use.
- For safety reasons, fireplace is non-functioning.

GUEST ACCESS:

**NO HOMESTEAD BEACH CLUB ACCESS**
As our guest you will have the condo all to yourself. There is unassigned parking available next to the condo, however, it is first come first serve. If you have multiple vehicles, there is also additional parking near the main Homestead entrance.

We have visited a few homestead condos over the years and yours is by far the best! Our stay was nostalgic - we are former Hawks Nest property owners. We love the fireplace, and the pull out bed is a wonderful feature! It is easy to use and made watching tv in the living area comfortable for our family!The condo is very cozy and well appointed... we appreciated all the little details including the holiday decor, back stock of all necessities and overall sense of comfort we felt from the moment we walked in the door! Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Great Place!

We rented this place and it was perfect for our needs. With the bedrooms below the living areas it worked out great for those sleeping and those awake. The bedrooms were great for us, so clean and so very comfortable. Places wasn't far from Glen Arbor and the kitchen is well stocked for cooking. Would recommend this place to others. Dylan was very easy to communicate with and we greatly enjoyed our stay.

Wine Weekend

We had a great stay while in the area to hit some wineries! The place was a bit smaller than we anticipated but very clean and up to date. We especially enjoyed the porch area where we spotted several deer. This place was perfect for our party of 4!

Cozy condo

The Hawk's Nest Hideaway was perfect for a weekend getaway for my husband and I to celebrate our anniversary. The condo is newly renovated and very nicely decorated. The screened in porch is perfect for relaxing--you can hear the waves from the lake and see the wildlife in the backyard, and the screen prevents the bugs from ruining it! It is a small space--I was glad it was just the 2 of us. The location is great as well--close to The Homestead and Glen Arbor, but at the back of the resort property so it feels more secluded. It is also very close to Spa Amira, where we got wonderful massages!

Peaceful stay

The property was clean and had everything we need. It was a quiet, peaceful place to stay. I left my dirty laundry bag and the owners went out of their way to mail me my clothes. Highly recommend.

Hawks’s nest condo

Such a beautiful location. Nicely furnished, functional and very comfortable. Never heard any neighbors. Close to trails and local towns. And never far from the wonderful coastline of Lake Michigan! Highly recommended.

Clean, quiet, awesome porch!

We had a great stay. This unit is nicely updated. Hosts were super responsive to questions. Lake breeze is awesome on the screen porch. Only downside is that it's quite a height above the lake and bike trails, so we ended up driving the car to the beach and trails more than we would have otherwise.

This was a nice place close to Glen arbor and not too far to drive to traverse and north point. It is a cute condo with a great screened in porch! You can see the sunset through the trees sitting there listening to the breeze off the lake.

Quiet woodsy stay

We stayed here 3 nights and had a wonderful stay. It’s so peaceful and being from Florida, I loved staying in the woods. We made good use of the screened in porch every night . We also cooked two nights and was just nice to come home to comfortable beds after a day hiking and kayaking. The hosts very responsive. I highly recommend this adorable home away from home for 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 children. I think anymore than that would be too tight

Delightful Stay

My kids and I stayed here for 4 nights in July while visiting Sleeping Bear Dunes, and we loved this little condo. The Homestead Resort is very nice and safe with seemingly lots to do, but we spent most of our time away from the condo at Sleeping Bear Dunes or Glen Arbor. This condo building is up in the trees and you can see Lake Michigan through the trees. The condo is decorated in a cozy chic way and the pictures are accurate. Bedding and soft materials seemed new and clean. I really liked them! Owners were very responsive and responded when we had an issue. The kitchen is small, as is the entryway, so large families might want something bigger. It was fine for our family of three. There is also no washer or dryer so have a plan with all the sand. And the outdoor spaces are pretty buggy, but you are in the woods. The kitchen has lots of cute glassware and plateware. It could use a bigger skillet, a griddle (or something to cook burgers, etc. since there is no grill), and a colander. Thanks for a lovely stay!

Overall fantastic vacation!

The condo was prefect size for a party of 3. Perfect location to get to the sand dunes fast and easy! Directions were not hard to understand and was easy to follow, didn’t ask much when checking out. Overall great experience. The only complaint that we had was the downstairs patio door was unlocked when we first entered but nothing came in at all. Still we had an amazing time, we would stay here again!
