« We had a fantastic stay at the butchers arms. They were very friendly and helpful. We had a problem with another hotel and Andrew and his team couldn’t do enough for us. What a lovely place to stay. Very clean place. Bed was super comfy had a fantastic nights sleep. We will definitely stay again if in the area. « A lovely old-fashioned hotel in a stunning setting. Comfortable, clean, cozy. On arrival we were surprised to find nobody there even though we'd waited for reception opening time. Our keys were in a plastic bag pinned to a cork board. Explanations were confusing. Breakfast was an epic adventure. The gas stove had broken down and a tremendous effort was made by staff to provide us with a very good Welsh breakfast that was well worth waiting nearly an hour for. « Hot bath tap didn't work so moved to another room. The curtains in there were so thin that the outside lights were so bright in my room and made it really hard to sleep. The whole place needs an upgrade. Beautiful building but lots of damp water leak patches in ceilings of corridors and in therestaurant. »

« Superbe hôtel en vrai pierre. Lit très confortable, chambre très agréable. Il n'y a pas d’ascenseur. Au petit déjeuner, le cuisinier vous prépare réellement votre repas. Avec une Suite, la salle de bain est très bien mais à l'étage, donc la nuit il faut monter pour utiliser les toilettes. »
