Vue sur les montagnes : cabane en rondins Gunstock Acres

  • Charming, quintessentially New Hampshire log cabin at the top of Gunstock Acres. The cabin is in the perfect location to enjoy all the Lakes Region has to offer! Just an 8-minute drive to Ellacoya State Park, 7 min. to Gunstock Ski Resort, 10 min. to Bank of NH Concert Pavilion, 15 min. to Weirs Beach, and 30 min. to NH Motor Speedway. The house has a deck with a gas grill, a spacious front porch, and a selection of yard games to enjoy the peaceful outdoor surroundings.

    When we purchased the cabin, our goal was to furnish and decorate it in a way that would encourage us to unplug and unwind. We love vintage New Hampshire style, so you'll find fun little touches around the house.

    The home has three smart TVs, so you can easily access your Netflix account. The living room has a Bluetooth sound system that hooks up to the TV and phones, so you can listen to your favorite playlist. If you're in the mood to unplug, there is a library with an assortment of books, along with a record player with a small collection of vintage records.

    You'll have access to the entire cabin and yard. You're welcome to use anything in the house!

    The cabin is located on a street of beautiful homes, at the very top of Gunstock Acres. When you first turn on to the street, you'll notice the incredible views of Lake Winnipesaukee across the street. On a clear day, you can see Mt. Washington in the distance. The neighborhood is hilly, so a challenging, scenic hike is just outside your door!

    The cabin is driving distance to some of the Lake Region's best amenities.

    Ellacoya State Park:
    There are a lot of photos of Ellacoya State Park on their website. There is a fee to access the park. Admission is $5 for adults; $2 for children ages 6-11; children ages 5 and under are free.
    NO INDOOR FIRES
    The indoor fireplace is not available at this time.

    NO FIREWORKS
    We're know they're legal in NH and so fun, but we don't want them set off from our property.

    TRASH
    Please put your trash in the large trash cans in the driveway, just outside the basement door. Remove all open food and drinks from the refrigerator.

    BEDS
    Please leave the beds you've slept in unmade, as we'll be changing the sheets after you depart.

We enjoyed the warmth of the cabin. From the front of the porch a Bald Eagle flew by to the back porch enjoying our coffee in the morning with an owl.

Charming Cabin

This cozy cabin has everything you need to enjoy your stay while exploring Lake Winnipesaukee, the small towns on the lake and the surrounding mountains. The beds are super comfy and the family room is so inviting with its rustic charm! We spent a full day on the lake hiked a 48’er, explored Meredith, and stopped at some breweries. There’s so much to do in the area and everything is so easily accessible. Great spot!

Beautiful Spot

We had a wonderful stay at this property. It's located amongst other beautiful homes and has fantastic views. The home was warm and welcoming. We were able to walk around the neighborhood and relax. The kitchen was perfect for cooking little meals, the living room was great for lounging, and there were lots of blankets and pillows to stay cozy during our late fall stay. The property managers were super wonderful, they made it so easy for us to check in and out. They were attentive to our needs, very friendly, and responded quickly to our messages! We will for sure be coming back!
