A Green Lane. This narrow lane runs down to Gilcrux. It is little used except for agricultural traffic, but hasn't deteriorated over the last ten years. The verges are havens for wild flowers, especially primroses in early spring.

Had an amazing stay. Hotel,spa and grounds so lovely! Super, lovely garden room with views towards the lake!The staff here really do go above and beyond! Loved the spa with fantastic staff! Everything was great! Lodge is perfect for 2 but easily fits 4 people. We had some welcoming presents and everything was very clean and tidy. Location is ideal. We would definitely recommend it.

We arrived early so had a drink in the bar, check in was at 4 but they started to let people check in at 15:40, it was smooth and there were no issues, the lady was friendly and very helpful. As we got to the lodge the main entrance was covered in bird poo, that had definitely been left there a while, ...
