« House had everything we could possibly need or want to have a wonderful weekend. The screened porch was great for relaxing, kayaks were fun, nice little dock for fishing or stargazing. We even went for a swim! Perfectly clean and in good condition, and was near enough to go to Metropolis and Paducah for entertainment. There's a dollar store in Brookport for all of the items one inevitably forgets to pack. XD »

« We had a wonderful family vacation and would definitely come back here again! The location is beautiful, peaceful and convenient to the local marina. We especially enjoyed kayaking, fishing, and swimming off the dock. The host proactively communicated and was readily available for questions. The kitchen was well equipped and had everything we needed. »

« The house was nice and the view was great but the house was infested with ants and mosquitoes. They were through the entire house. There was bug spray at the house and we used it, it helped some. We had to call the property manager twice in two days. Once because the toilet was broken then again to replace the furnace filter. It was incredibly dirty and we had family with asthma staying. « The home has everything and more for our stay. Property owners thought of everything to make it to where you have everything and not have to leave. Nice shady area for little ones to play while adults enjoy as well. Got to see deer in evening in the back yard. I can't say enough about how amazing our stay was. »

« It was everything we had hoped it would be. The home was Absolutely stunning. A peaceful and quiet retreat and immaculately clean. We cant wait to go back next year. I highly recommend "Herrons Rest"!! »

« University of MN Crookston stayed there while attending the ACHA convention at Murray State. After a 16 hour drive, it was a beautiful place to arrive at. Very easy to navigate to and from the house to Murray State. If the club is ever going to that area again, we will most definitely be staying there! Thank you!! »

« Overall great visit and I would stay again. All communication was great and check in very easy. Inside was clean, well appointed, and in great shape. King bed we used was nice and comfortable. Although inside was great, outside was in need of a major cleaning. Lots of dirt, dead bugs, old spider webs and mud dauber nests everywhere on walls, windows and doors. « This was really a wonderful space right on lake Kentucky for our family of 4 to stay in for a weekend. There was a pool table, 4 kayaks, and a small dock. Also Paducah is not far. As a result there was plenty to do! Highly recommend. »
