Hôtels près du Ghoom Monastery à Darjeeling

« Overall did the job, not exceptional but friendly staff always helpful. A little out of town but incredible views of the Himalayas. Breakfast was not a buffet for some reason, and no fridge/mini bar in room. »

« Sterling Darjeeling is a great place to stay for a trip to the area. The location is much better than anything close to the mall. You can avoid all the traffic and noise of central Darjeeling. Views of the valley and surround mountains are great. The staff is very helpful. If you’re traveling from the airport, you will get to the property much faster (hours) than any place close to the mall because of all the traffic even though it’s only a few kilometers away. I would highly recommend Sterling...

« Best one to dtay in Darjeeling. »

« There was nothing there to like. Everything was terrible & not in a livable condition. No working bathroom, no weather controlled rooms, very old & dirty towels. Please remove this property from your list. No one should live in such horrible conditions after paying so much. I should get some refund back if not the entire amount. Thanks 🙏 »

« Food is excellent, and staff are very very good »

« The room I was given needed a fair bit of attention from the cleanliness of the bathroom, filling in the toilet roll and tissues Restaurant was ok but the food needed more variation. However the staff at the restaurant were very nice and helpful. Although it says there is a spa they mean it only offered massages. I feel Expedia could have done a better job with verifying all that is claimed in the description.I think it should be only a Two star rating. »

« The view from the rooms is exceptional. Being able to lay on bed and see the Himalayan Mountain range was the highlight. Staff were extremely helpful anf friendly. Thank-you we really enjoyed our stay and were fortinate to see the snow capped peaks most days. »

« It is an excellent place to stay if you are not looking for a classical style "Hotel". It has a very warm and ready-to-please Staff - only 8 of them to manage all ten rooms. It is a heritage Property with all the quaintness and old-world charm in terms of the building and furnishings etc. It has a feeling of a large Homestay with very personalised Service. Recently renovated and therefore still needs some "De-bugging" I would recommend it if you are looking for a warm and stay »

« It is a heritage hotel in keeping with bygone times. Super close to the mall. Lovely dining room for dinner with fireplace and candlelit. Food was terrific with alot of choices. Buffet bfast but you can request eggs how u like. Some renovation works currently but all staff and workmen encountered always super polite and helpful beyond . If I were to go back to darjeeling I would definitely stay here. ...the drive from bagdogra to darjeeling is an experience in itself. »

« Hotel is nice but check if your has a view. If not, avoid it because its very expensive and not benefit »

« We booked the Family Room with Balcony and Jacuzzi for a 3-night stay. The room itself had a very cozy feel and was perfect for a family, and the staff was phenomenal—always friendly and eager to help. However, the room's main selling points fell short of expectations: Jacuzzi Maintenance: The floor jet caps were missing (except for 2 or 3), making it uncomfortable to stand or sit in. Additionally, it took so long to fill that I had to call reception to have it filled manually. As a result, we...

« Mountain mist is a beautiful homestay experience with comfort conveniences and the authenticity of small village Himalayan life. The family team have recently expanded into hosting more foreign tourists. You can be one of the pioneer guests We were collected in a modern 4x4 and served variety of local cuisine in six days. Travellers willing to leave the chain hotel experience offered in Darjeeling can have a soft bed with fast internet amongst the hills of the tea estate. Bantandam is rural and...

« The staff were great. The location was perfect and close to main Darjeeling mall. The floors in the room and multiple junctions in the lobby area are uneven which may cause discomfort and extra attention especially for elderly people. »
