« The location of the unit is wonderful. For those who want to take Metra - BNSF to Chicago, this is great as it is walking distance to the commuter rail. The host provided snacks which was a great touch after a long drive. The unit had its own HVAC which allowed for a very comfortable stay. Two beds and two full baths along with an adult (not a camping style) kitchen, and shopping and dining all close by made for a wonderful extended stay close to Chicago. Nicely put together! »

« Wonderful hospitality! Denise went out of her way to make sure my visit ran smoothly. She even provided some dog sitter services. She has a lovely backyard in a perfect location to go to the city or enjoy the suburbs. My dog Rousey was welcomed and treated like royalty. My stay was perfect! Her little dogs are precious and made me feel welcome ! I’d stay there again! »

« The apartment was very cozy and clean. The location was perfect there was always somewhere to park and the complex was easy to find and easy to get into. « My wife and I planned a last-minute and much-needed getaway. To our surprise, we found this GREAT PROPERTY in our backyard! The rustic old house was remolded to a nice modern look. We are very familiar with the area and the town that this home is in, but we never knew that the town itself offered such very nice lodging, or lodging in general. « Very clean for being in the basement. Great for the price we got it at! Felt very safe in it's location within a beautiful neighborhood with sidewalks. Walked to the market apx 15 min walk there. There were a TON of LOUD cicadas which was a little eek but I believe that only happens every 17 years? Would of been nice to have a wall separating unit stays instead of just a door. Wasn't sure if someone could come down stairs from the upstairs that wasn't part of our rental. over all though we had a...

« We had a great time in Geneva. Overall the place we stayed was very nicely decorated, comfortable and close to town and the river. The bikes are a nice touch. Two things to be aware of when renting: the owner communicates a lot. There are contracts to sign and lots of back and forth. Way more than any other VRBO I’ve ever stayed at. Tons of rules and reminders of rules. It was a little stressful. The other thing is this is a basement apartment. There is an apartment above and ANY walking around,...
