convenience to locations

Publié le 20 juil. 2016
Les + : even though it was on the main strip, it was rather quiet
Les - : very disappointed with the pool -- the water had an odor and not clean -- we used the net on two occasions to get "hair balls" and bugs out of pool.
Situation : walking distance to breakfast and lunch areas
the room was clean -- the comforter had a rather large "hole". A little disappointed because for breakfast, all they had was a "box" of donuts and coffee - no juices for younger group in my party... would recommend but need to clean the pool, especially for summer time!!!

Les + : Rooms were clean
Situation : located on the far end of town
Hotel has two floors with no elevator. First flight of stairs has no handrail. Breakfast consisted of a donut. Office staff was poorly trained. Rooms very outdated

Would Stay again for the Jacuzzi.

Publié le 18 avr. 2016 sur Hotels
Nice bed and nice Jacuzzi tub, flat screen television was nice as well. Had a private balcony in the back overlooking a small river with ducks and horses on the other side. Only complaints was the doors did not have tight fits allowing a lot of traffic noise in room which woke me several times. And you cannot turn the air on and leave it on due to thermostat controlled so it is on and off all night which helps drown out the street noise when it is on but when it is off the traffic noise woke me all night. Wi-fi also sucked barely worked in room and we was on four rooms from office.

Nice hotel close to everything

Publié le 18 avr. 2016
Les + : It was very comfortable and quiet.
Les - : Alarm clocks should be provided in every room. Also, if you request no maid service, the maid should not clean the room. Needs elevator.
Situation : Location was awesome. You are close to absolutely everything in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg.
The room was comfortable, but had no alarm clock. It was great being close to everything! The only problem I had was I requested no maid service for the second day I was there, and they cleaned the room anyway.

Perfect Mix up

Publié le 11 avr. 2016 sur Hotels
Have booked with Hotels.com dozens of time. This is the first time they have ever screwed up the reservation. Reserved and paid for a King suite with Jacuzzi. Got to the room, no Jacuzzi, went back to the desk, all she would say is "this is what Hotels.com sent me". Showed me the paper work from Hotel.com. Bad part about it was, it was the correct price for the Jacuzzi suite, but listed as just a king bed room on Hotels.com paperwork. Lady at the desk was less than cooperative, but finally agreed to put us in the correct room, since that was what we were being charged for. Room was great, Jacuzzi was biggest one we have seen in a hotel room. Bed was really comfortable. Will stay here again just for the size of the room and size of the jacuzzi. It was worth the price. Will call the hotel direct next time though and not use Hotels.com.

Lovely big room. A back door opened right on to the river.

The staff was very plain, boring, not cheerful or anything. When told there would be doughnuts and coffee for breakfast, there were no doughnuts (they never had any) and we had to ask for coffee. In my room, I found a roach hotel and was bombarded by a very large spider. They need to shape up. Last year it was much better.

Clean, bug-free, quiet

Publié le 6 avr. 2016 sur Hotels
Overnight stay only but the room was very good for that purpose. The room was clean, bug-free and quiet. You are not as close to the Smokie Mountains as we would have liked and the traffic is, well, heavy especially on weekends. These are not a reflection on the hotel but if you plan to spend most of your time in the mountains you might want to check the distance. It was a good value for the money spent.
