« We have never stayed in Townsend before during all of our stays to the Smokies. I loved being away from the hustle of crowds. The Parkman was the first place I googled for Townsend area. They allowed my pet which was a must. The room and property were both clean. The staff were polite. It was just me and the hubby for our 10 year anniversary, so the room given was perfect. I highly recommend this place to anyone wanting to stay in Townsend. »

« This was one of my favorite hotels I have stayed at! From check-in to check-out the experience was seamless. We were greeted by the staff immediately upon pulling in and they showed us to our room and made check-in very easy. The peaceful setting right on the river was a dream. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling in the Smoky Mountains/Gatlinburg area. »

« All the pros: 1. Very clean, fresh-smelling room! 2. There was a printed-out TV channel guide in the room, which is something I see less and less of, so it was appreciated and made finding cartoons a breeze. 3. When we needed extra towels, the staff was friendly and quick getting them to us. 4. The elevators are glass, so you can see the mountains as you ride! 5. Very convenient location right on the "main drag" in Pigeon Forge closer to the Sevierville end, but it's situated a bit off the road,...
