Get Mountain High-1 BR/1 BA Newly Renovated Condo-Incredible Views-Pool-Hot Tubs

Get Mountain High above Gatlinburg at this highly rated High Chalet condo. Couples looking for a romantic getaway and small families will love the quiet and privacy this special place provides. Only minutes from the Smoky Mountain National Park and hiking, Dollywood and all that Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge have to offer, this complex is a favorite for visitors. Children love the seasonal heated pool and parents and couples enjoy relaxing in the outdoor hot tubs open year around.

This one bedroom condo features a comfy California King bed in the private bedroom and a queen size sofa bed in the family room. There is an entrance off the bedroom and the hall to the bathroom...no children trouping through the bedroom in the middle of the night! Curl up in bed and enjoy streaming your favorite shows on the smart T.V. or gazing at the stars and lights flickering off the mountain.

Wake up to coffee on the balcony overlooking the gorgeous Smoky Mountains and the Ober Mountain Ski Runs. The views are spectacular and can be enjoyed from the large picture window in the family room and from the balcony which is accessible from the bedroom and family room. If watching the skiers and zipliners coming down the mountain inspire you, Ober Mountain is only about a 10 to 15 minute drive across the mountain roads.

Our beautiful condo was completely renovated in 2025 in a rustic modern style with wood feature walls and a romantic electric fireplace with color changing crystals. Our kitchen was completely redesigned and features full size stainless steel appliances, leathered granite countertops and new hickory cabinets. The kitchen is stocked with everything you should need to cook for your family and friends and has a free standing pantry to provide plenty of storage.

The family room is furnished with all new furniture (2025) and in addition to the queen sleeper sofa, it has a large sideboard/cabinet for storage, a dining table for 2 with the incredible mountain view, a breakfast counter with bar stools, a new smart TV, and a coffee table stocked with board games.

The bathroom has a tub and was remodeled with shiplap walls, new tile floor, new cabinets and a marble countertop.

Of course no Gatlinburg retreat is complete without local art and photography. My walls feature works from local artists in the Gatlinburg Arts and Crafts Community. From the minute you enter "Get Mountain High" we want you to feel like you are on vacation in Gatlinburg and The Great Smoky Mountains.

In addition to the seasonal pool, and 2 outdoor hot tubs, the complex has a sauna and a clubhouse with a couple of arcade style games, foosball, and tables for playing cards or board games. The complex has several grills and picnic tables. There is a laundromat on my floor a few feet down the hall. Bring change. It takes approximately $5 to wash and dry a load of clothes.

Housekeeping:
Bed linens, bath, hand towels, and washcloths are provided for each registered guest. A starter set of shampoo, conditioner, soap and make up wipes is provided. A 2 to 3 day supply of toilet tissue and paper towels are provided. Kitchen towel, washcloth, dish soap and dishwasher soap are provided.

For stays longer than 7 nights a complimentary midweek clean up can be arranged. Please contact me before your stay to schedule.
We provide 4 pool towels for each stay.

We also provide coffee pods, creamer and sugar for your first morning in the mountains.

Please note, to have the incredible views I have at Get Mountain High, you will have to drive about 15 minutes up to the top of Ski View Drive. This is a city maintained road that is lined and wide enough to pass oncoming traffic. It is well worth the drive to escape the town crowds and have the gorgeous views. After a couple of times up and down the mountain, Guests tend to get used to the drive.

The closest grocery store to the condo is Food City up Highway 321 E. It is about 7.4 miles and takes about 20 minutes to get there. Additionally, there is a Publix and Kroger in Pigeon Forge approximately 12 miles and 25 minutes away. Chalet Village Market is on Ski Mountain Road and stocks some essentials and has a deli and pizzeria.
