  • Want the perfect mountain getaway in your own cozy and private 2 bedroom real log cabin? Natural Beauty is located in Elk Springs Resort in the arts and crafts community where you'll feel like you are in the national park. Relax in your hot tub or on your covered deck and enjoy the in the park type feeling surrounded by pines, hemlocks oaks and poplars. While the setting is quiet and remote, you'll have easy access via paved roads with easy grades with convenience to downtown Gatlinburg just 8 minutes away. You are 20 minutes to Pigeon Forge and just 5 minutes to the Greenbrier entrance to the national park.

    Free WIFI, a washer / dryer, iron and ironing board, and paved parking are included for your convenience. All linens and towels are provided as well as a starter supply of paper towels, toilet paper, soaps and detergents.

    Host requires the guest to sign a rental management agreement prior to allowing access to the unit. The agreement details our cancellation policy, terms and conditions. Must be 21 or older to reserve a cabin and person booking must be staying in the cabin.

    We provide a starter supply of paper products, detergents and soaps and coffee filters. We do not supply shampoo, conditioner, body wash and there are no pantry items, spices, salt & pepper or coffee included - guests should bring these items.

    This cabin is professionally managed by Elk Springs Resort Cabin Rentals in Gatlinburg, TN. We provide concierge service as well as dispatched maintenance and housekeeping should you need assistance during your stay. Easy drive and close to arts and craft section The Cabin did have a very dirty smell, almost like and old pet rug smell. I had to go to store to get air freshener and everyday when we returned the smell was there. Cabin was somewhat dusty. Beds are not that comfortable . I have stayed in Elk Spring resort cabins for 5 + years now and this was the first time I didn't sleep well in bed.

Reviewer Comments: We loved the pool table and gaming console and the fact that we were not in a hotel room. We also were happy that we had the full kitchen and BBQ to use.The cabin needs a little bit of care (light bulbs, ceiling fan replacement in main living area) but was still very comfortable.It would be nice if checkout time was a little later, especially if the next reservation is not the same day.The carpenter bees were rampant this time of year and there are holes on all the cabins that we saw, which means lots of damage long term, but that is hard to battle.

Only complaints were it took two phone calls to get the hot tub fixed(pump would sound like it was running but was not working and the water was cold), there was no gas for the outside grill and fireplace, and the upstairs was dirty. There was food on the beds and the night stands as well as finger nails in the carpet. Not to mention used bottles of deodorant and Flonase in the drawers.

The cabin is nice, but housekeeping and maintenance was lacking.- burned out / missing light bulbs- ceiling fans coated with dust- hot tub did not work on night 1 even after maintenance- hot tub was fixed the next day, but failed to reach a reasonable temperature until the day 3- hot tub thermostat is iffy at best as the temp sky rocketed to 111 while the temp was set at 100- garbage in the woods, likely caused by previous guests, but should be cleaned up- No telling when the last time someone vacuumed under the beds and furniture.

Great cabin for the price

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great cabin, in a great location for the price. We loved the hot tub and game room. Cabin is by other cabins, but it was never loud or busy. Cabin could us some updating - rocking chairs, outside table were pretty old and worn. Many lights were burned out inside, which made it feel dark (especially in the bathrooms). Porch railing felt a little unsafe and moved out when leaned on, front porch beams had large holes in them and looked like they were being eaten by something. We didn’t see any bugs, so maybe it was already treated? Probably could use some basic maintenance. Overall, it was roomy, close to activities, was priced right, and fit our family’s needs (2 adults, 3 kids).

Our initial cabin had to have maintenance so they upgraded our cabin to a two bedroom. The only negative about the cabin was that it didn’t have the views that the initial cabin had. Other than that the cabin was beautiful. Our hot tub didn’t work the first day we were there but was fixed the second day. The fire pit and the grill were both out of propane so I had to call two different times for propane to be brought. They only left one roll of toilet paper in each bathroom for a week long stay. We only had one pack of washing powder and two dish washer tablets. We ended up having to go buy toilet paper, paper towels, washing detergent, dryer sheets, and dishwasher detergent. I wasn’t too fond of the closeness of the cabins. We also had access to a community pool In our initial reservation that we didn’t have with the replacement cabin.

There were no sheets for the futon or pull-out couch. when I requested sheets, they were to be delivered at 9:45pm. I waited until 10:30pm and no sheets for the first night. No gas in grill tank. The front and back door looked like they were kicked in and the frame was just glued back together. I cleaned a mess made on the floor and the towel was BLACK....

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The cabin was in a decent location, close to downtown Gatlinburg. The cabin was cozy but just OK. The master bed on the main floor was very uncomfortable, did not sleep good most of the trip. Pillows were below average as well. The upstairs master bed had a mattress pad on it making it comfy for the kids. The ceiling fans needed a good dusting as they were caked in dust. Be aware that not all Elk Springs resort cabins have access to the community pool. We saw other cabins had community pool access and assumed all within the resort did too. Nope, not this cabin. The kids were disappointed since it was super hot during our visit. Other than that and a couple other minor things, it was a cozy cabin as advertised.

Customer service and check in process could have been better. 1. I am still confused on the need for a proof of address if we already upload driver’s license and input our billing and mailing address. Especially if payment goes through validating all 3 listing of the same address. Very evasive. 2. One representative (Dina) that I dealt with at the initial reservation process told me that I didn’t need to have the additional address verification, then we get to the cabin and now I need it to get my door code. 3. Logging into the internet took an hour. But it’s to be expected based on location.

Picture Perfect location.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This cabin was a great getaway for a sister's retreat. It had plenty of space for us to settle in very comfortably. The views around the cabin were picture perfect. For a cabin, it was remarkably clean and had everything we needed to feel at home. There was only one problem with cleanliness and definitely not the cause of the owners but of nature. There were several spider's webs outside which made it uncomfortable to go out on the back deck. Thus, having two sisters afraid of spiders caused us to stay indoors during the time we were actually there.The only other very small issue was trying to locate the exact cabin in the dark. It would be very helpful, but I imagine costly, to have the name of each cabin lit up for evening arrivals. Thanks for the wonderful, perfect place to call home during our visit to Gatlinburg and the surround areas. Gaitlinburg's home town feel was very inviting. The Daiquiri shack as well as Jason Alden's bar were a great place to stop, have refreshments, and enjoy the local scene. Anakeesta was a great adventure with plenty of activities for people of all ages. Being close to Pigeon Forge was also a great advantage. There are many fun things to do there as well. We are already making plans for out next stay!

Natural beauty

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We love Elk Springs Resorts and have stayed with them for years now. But this is a cabin I would avoid unless you just can’t find anything else on their website. The cabin itself is nice, but there were so many problems. When we arrived there were chip crumbs on our pillows and trash under the bed on the floor. The master bed slept like concrete blocks so we went to the upstairs bedroom. The heating and air was horrible. If you turned on the AC, your room feels like a freezer; if you turned off the ac or even turned on the heat, it felt like an oven. There was no middle setting that worked. The pool table pockets had holes in them and the pool ball would hit your feet if you made it. The hot tub didn’t heat very well and the jets didn’t work properly half the time. We love elk springs but this was the worst cabin of theirs that we have stayed in due to their high standards of previous cabins, we will be back to elk springs but will AVOID natural beauty.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Cabin was very nice. Perfect for 2 couples. Clean and had everything you needed if you wished to cook. Quiet, just outside of town. My only complaint was that we had to leave a day early due to a death in the family. My husband had a bottle of liquor on the counter- which was rather expensive. Unfortunately he thought I grabbed it, I thought he did. I took pictures (which I always due when leaving to cover us) while he finished loading the truck (we had put everything out on the porch). We got about 6 hours away and realized we left it behind. I spent several hours trying to reach someone and filled out a form online. The next day I was able to speak to someone who said no one had been in yet, so I sent her the picture of the kitchen I took just before leaving and showed her the bottle was sitting beside the frig. Well, she called me back and said the housekeeper didn’t turn it in, so there is nothing anyone can do. So disappointing! It was a gift and yes it’s our fault, but goes to show you can trust everyone to do the right thing. Other thank that- we had a wonderful stay.

I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Two couples enjoyed 6 nights at Natural Beauty. There were a few topics that need some attention but they were not deal breakers. The cabin was basically clean, but the interior walls and floors were due for a deep clean. The linens and towels were acceptable, but if you really like your favorite pillows & bath towels, bring them. The hot tub was exceptionally clean and worked perfectly. The propane fire table on the deck is nice and the maintenance team sent someone out immediately when we reported the propane tank needed replacement. Other nice amenities were the internet, washer & dryer, and kitchen. The bathrooms aren't luxurious, but one has a soaker tub we didn't use. The showers were adequate. The water was super fact, possibly dangerously hot for youngsters or anyone who isn't careful. The pool table is good enough for kids, but don't count on any competitive play as the table is well used.So, this is my honest review. Despite minor items that may have needed attention, the management & maintenance teams routinely send texts to ensure all is going well with your stay. They responded quickly to the minor concerns I reported. Finally, mountain views are sometimes blocked in the summer by many trees, but that's just the way it is. We have no regrets and hope to stay there again.
