« Amazing experience in Japan. The location is amazing, being so close to the subway. Just be ready, you will hear the trains from this property. The only real downside is the lack of elevator so be ready to carry you bags up the stairs. The host is great and responded quickly to the couple of questions and requests we had through the trip. Thanks for a great trip! »

« It was very close to Nakano station so when returning from a walking trip It was a bless. A lot of MiniMarkets and a coin laundry nearby »

« Super cool, clean and spacious. All the amenities were well stocked. Great kitchen space. Great laundry area. Great sleeping area. The host was very kind and held an umbrella for me while I loaded my bags into a cab. No issues as a non Japanese speaking person. 10/10 don’t stay anywhere else if you are looking for this neighborhood »

« Convenient location a few metro stops from Shinjuku. Excellent 7/11 and lots of izakaya in neighborhood. Property was clean but shabby - broken tatami and paper peeling off walls and cabinets. Be aware kitchen has a single hot plate and no stovetop. Not uncommon in Japan but might surprise some. A nice surprise was a private bedroom not shown in pics. I think 4 people could stay (cozy!) but 8 is a stretch. We were just two guests and that was fine space wise »

« Our floor was on the second floor and there was no elevator to go the second floor and the stairs were so narrow. Imagine having to carry luggage up narrow steps. The bath towels were so little and thin so bring your own, which you shouldn’t have to. On the plus side, it was roomy and had a washer and dryer. Quiet neighborhood and not too far from the train station. It was clean but very dated. Fridge and freezer worked great and it had two air conditioning units. »
