In the evening when this photo was taken, the canyon takes on a soft, almost painterly light. If you can, make a visit right after sunrise and return for the sunset.

I used a wide lens to capture the arch and didn't attempt to correct the distortion as I felt it added to the picture (for me anyway). We enjoyed the privacy of the apartment and its quiet, cozy feel. We also appreciated the amenities of the kitchen, which enabled us to eat most of our meals "at home." We'd be happy stay there again next time we visit Yellowstone.

Just perfect! Charmingly decorated with a beautiful view of the river. It is an ideal location for visiting Yellowstone. We have stayed in every location in the park and we much prefer Gardiner. Rive Gauche is our favorite place ever!

Super Clean, Great Location

Property is very clean and the kitchen was stocked with all of the little things we needed during our stay. Views of the river and the wildlife were incredible. The location was ideal for us as we are very familiar with the area. We experienced a drainage problem with the showet and after calling several phone numbers and leaving messages, a very nice gentleman repaired the issue that evening. We could have used more than two bath towels for two adults for a weeks stay but we made it work by using the laundromat. I really enjoyed the Paris theme as it was a nice break from the typical mountain inspired decor. The gated entry was an excellent experience as it provided an extra sense of security. Overall, our experience was very positive and we would book here again.

Adorable studio

Perfect location for visiting Yellowstone. This studio was so comfortable and completely stocked with everything we needed during our stay. The decor is charming and the house is right on the river with a great outdoor deck. Loved it all!

Perfect stay

Rive Gauche is the perfect location to stay if you want to enter Yellowstone's north entrance...you can see if from the house! The house was by far the most comfortable stay of our whole trip. The only bad thing was that is was SO comfortable, we had trouble leaving it to explore town and the park! Loved every thing about it.

Great nights sleep

Quality of bedding was amazing. The best sleep we had out of the 5 total places we stayed on this vacation. You will be blown away with the bath towels too, very luxurious. The quality of pretty much everything was top notch. You’ll be very satisfied with the house and porch overlooking the river! The only downfall was the WiFi, but hopefully you’re not out here to be streaming on your device (no tv in the studio) or working anyways! Signal from the router was very weak. We could connect but then it disappears. The 5G signal was good enough to just disconnect from the WiFi. We didn’t really have a need to be connected, but worth noting.

This property was perfect for our trip. This property is beautifully decorated, well planned and furnished. The owner provided bear spray should it be needed in a hike!! Basically, everything one could want was provided. Great property.

Perfect Location

This property was the perfect location to explore North Yellowstone and have a comfortable home base to return back to. The apartment was beautifully decorated and well equipped with everything we needed for our stay. The location couldn’t have been better and we loved sitting on the porch just watching the river go by.

This garage apartment is beautifully decorated and pristine. The location right in Gardiner is ideal for getting into YNP at the north entrance. The only thing I would change is to add room darkening window treatments particularly for the sleeping area, but overall it was great!

The perfect getaway!

We had an amazing time staying at the Rive Gauche! The space is cozy with lots of amenities! We had what we needed to make breakfasts and made sandwiches to take into the park with us. The house is minutes from the North Park Entrance which made it easy to get up and go in the mornings! If you’re looking for food in town, just make sure to plan it ahead of time and check closing times for dinner. We would love to visit again and would love to stay here again anytime we come back :)

Disappointed.

The location/ neighborhood was not exactly pleasing. Run down and unkept looking. There was no TV! Bedroom faces the road instead of the Yellowstone river. The toilet paper was terrible. So tissue paper thin that you had to use so much!! Bedroom is over a garage and at 5:00 am there was some loud machine that went off and kept running for about 5 minutes. Personally, I would prefer to see decor that fits the Montana location. Paris themed decor was a downer. Confusing and frustrating that I booked through VRBO but emails came from another agency. Could access rental info through the VRBO app.
