« With so many negative reviews regarding the size of the room, we paid extra for their bigger room. On arrival we received a friendly welcome and were shown to our room. The entrance to the rooms was having a mould problem, so an extractor had been installed and reed diffuser to mask the smell. « We arrived to no one around and after walking around the property finally saw an envelope with our name on it and our key. Our room smelt moldy and damp. The carpet was dirty and the walls were peeling. The beds were very uncomfortable. It was shocking to see after such a high rating. « I had a really nice stay at this guesthouse. It is kind of old-fashioned, but not rundown. A lot of decorations reminiscent of Carmarthen's past as well as of the place itself.
