Just 7 minutes from the GTA Owners Club and 15 minutes to downtown Galena. This home is NOT pet friendly. Total price per night - No added 3rd party fees.
Welcome to Shenandoah Ridge! Our 4 bedroom home will absolutely be your favorite Galena Getaway. Pull in and park your vehicle under our convenient car port and enter the side door. The bright and airy floorplan welcomes you into the main family room, kitchen and dining space. Enjoy great conversations or craft a meal with all new appliances and plenty of counter space in this great room.
Grab a cup of coffee from the Keurig and enjoy the expansive views from the family room or cuddle up in front of the gas fireplace and flat screen tv. High Speed Fiber Internet service will guarantee you can stream your shows and log into school or work with a few quick clicks. There are two bedrooms on the main level, both with King beds, private full bathrooms and private deck access. Just a quick note that all of our bathrooms feature a hair dryer and Aveda bath products.
Head down to the lower level for additional hang out space. Large open room with a table for games and puzzles, flat screen tv, seating and outdoor access. Another King bedroom with a private bathroom is also located in the lower level. Lastly bring the kids or the singles in the family and they can "bunk up" in the 4th bedroom. There are two sets of twin bunk beds that sleep up to 4 littles or 2 adults (bottom bunk only please). They have their own bathroom and place to call their own. Please enjoy 6 flat screen tvs in our home, all are Roku based, streaming only. These are located in each bedroom, the main floor great room and the lower level rec area.
The exterior of the home will offer you loads of space to roam, an outdoor hot tub that seats 6 and a built in stone fire pit. In the warmer months, doze off in the outdoor hammock. Please note this home is protected by SimpliSafe and there are exterior security cameras.
You will have access to the GTA Owners Club while staying with us. The indoor pool is open year-round and the outdoor pool is open Memorial Day through Labor Day. The club is an exclusive amenity that can be used by only Galena Territory property owners and their guests. The Owners' Club includes an indoor swimming pool, outdoor swimming pool w/slides, a kiddie pool, fitness room, game room, indoor/outdoor basketball courts, tennis courts, seasonal snack bar, free WiFi and outdoor playground. Don't forget to visit the new Stonedrift Spa, Lake Galena, The Shenandoah Riding Center and hiking trails throughout the 6,800-acre property or golf at one of several courses in the Galena Territory. Please remember usage of the amenities is NEVER guaranteed. We do not discount or refund due their closure.
When you book a home with us we will require 30% down, this is a payment not a deposit. The full balance is due 14 days prior to check in. If you cancel prior to the 14 days you will receive the first payment less a $35 cancellation fee. At the 14 day mark your stay will become non-refundable and dates cannot be adjusted. Your payments will automatically be processed to the card you place on file at the time of booking. Your rental agreement (sent after booking) will reflect the due dates and amounts.
PLEASE BE ADVISED THAT COVID-19 REGULATIONS MAY IMPACT LOCAL BUSINESSES AND HOURS OF OPERATION. We do not have a death, illness or inclement Weather Cancellation Policy, we highly recommend travel insurance.
PLEASE NOTE: You will be required to sign an electronic rental agreement at the time of booking, we ask this be signed and filed within 48 hours of receiving to guarantee your reservation. You must be 25 or older at the time of booking and present during the entire stay.
Check in details are sent 3 days prior to your arrival to the email on file. This includes the home's address, the access code and other pertinent home/area information. Early check in is never guaranteed and cannot be considered until the night before or morning of your arrival. The check in details will cover this process.
Please use the carport door which features an electronic lock. A code will be shared prior to check in for your dates. House Rules: 1. Renters Age: Primary renter must be at least 25 years of age and must be present in the home for the duration of the stay. 2. Check-in/out times: Check-in time is at 4:00 PM and Check-out time is at 11:00 AM. 3. NO PETS: no pets of any kind are allowed unless your home is designated as being dog friendly and you have paid a $150 pet fee. Renter will be charged $500 for any evidence of a pet in a non pet friendly Rental. 4. NO SMOKING: All homes are non-smoking. Renter will be charged $500 for any evidence of smoking inside the Rental. This includes but is not limited to cigarettes, cigars, vape/e-cigarette devices & marijuana. 5. Maximum Occupancy: The maximum occupancy set by Jo Daviess County or The City of Galena for each home is defined and included on the rental agreement. Exceeding occupancy will lead to immediate eviction and loss of nightly rent, fees and taxes. 6. Cleaning Fee: A one-time cleaning fee is charged for all rentals. Daily maid service is not provided. 7. There is a $50 charge for lost or damaged proximity cards and a $35 charge for lost keys. 8. Hot Tub (if applicable): Renter agrees to use the hot tub at their own risk. No children under the age of 12 are permitted in the hot tub without adult supervision. Hot tub covers are not designed to support a person or persons. Always leave the tub covered when not in use. Always use at least two people to slowly remove and replace the tub cover. Do not wear sun tan or other lotions in the tub. Renter will be charged for any additional cleaning fees or damage to the hot tub or the cover. 9. Garbage service. There is no garbage service in the Galena Territory. Renters are expected to take excessive garbage to the one of the two free garbage/refuse centers in the Territory (map provided at home). Excessive garbage onsite will incur a minimum $25 disposal charge. In the City of Galena you are allowed a maximum of one can of garbage and we ask you place on curb on designated garbage day. 10. Best efforts are made to keep all mechanicals in top working order. The Manager cannot guarantee against mechanical failure of heating, air conditioning, hot tub, TV’s, satellite receivers, cable, wifi or other appliances (if applicable). While every reasonable effort will be made to have any needed repairs done quickly and efficiently, no refunds or rent reductions can be made due to failure of appliances, electronics or equipment. 11. Renter shall deliver possession of Rental in good order and repair to Manager upon expiration of this agreement and agrees to reimburse Manager for any damage caused to Rental outside of ordinary wear and tear, including but not limited to additional cleaning charges and missing or damaged items. The Rental is professionally cleaned and inventoried before and after each stay and all furniture and appliances determined to be in working order. The Renter is responsible for notifying the Manager of any items found damaged or non-working upon arrival. 12. Indemnification and Hold Harmless: Renter and occupants agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Manager and owner of the Rental for any liabilities, theft, damage, cost or expense whatsoever arising from or related to any claim or litigation which may arise out of or in connection with Renter’s use and occupancy of the rental property including but not limited to any claim or liability for personal injury or damage or theft of property which is made, incurred or sustained by Renter, guests of renter, or other occupants of the home. 13. This home is privately owned, the owner and Manager are not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illnesses that occur while on the premises or its facilities. The owner and Manager are not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the Renter or guests. By signing and accepting our rental agreement, it is agreed that all guests are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises or others whom they invite to use the premises. 14. Falsified Reservations: Any reservation obtained under false pretense will be subject to forfeiture of advance payment, deposit and/or rental money, and the party will not be permitted to check in. 15. Security: While you are a guest please be respectful of neighbors in regard to noise and their property. The Galena Territory Security Department has the ability to fine as much as $1,000 to homeowners that rent to guests who do not behave appropriately. The Renter agrees to pay any fine incurred due to their actions and will be asked to vacate the premises. As a guest in a home in the City of Galena please be respectful of neighbors in regard to noise and property. The homes are located in residential areas and fall under City of Galena ordinances. Any guest receiving a police visit or fine will be required to exit the premises and be responsible for any fines or damages. 16. Amenities: We cannot guarantee usage of amenities and will not refund due to their closure for any reason.
