We rented this home while attending a wedding at High Grove Estate, and it served its primary purpose well—it provided a convenient place to stay close to the venue. The location was ideal and the home had enough space for our group.However, I would encourage future guests to read the previous reviews carefully, as we found them to be accurate. The pillows and towels provided were very limited and not particularly comfortable, so bringing your own is a good idea if possible. We also noticed that the wasp nest near the playset mentioned in prior reviews was still present during our stay and the Internet did not properly work. Overall, the property met our basic needs and was convenient for the wedding weekend, but there are some maintenance and comfort issues that would improve the guest experience if addressed.

Thanksgiving 2023

Place was perfect for us. We pretty much just slept there and had breakfast as Family Thanksgiving get together is held in Apex so most meals, turkey trot, pickleball tourney and games are held there.

This house was perfect for our kids! They were so sad to leave they cried. They had decorations put up our of reach of little hands and plenty of fun toys and the outdoor play structure that was a blast. If your looking for a home your comfortable in with your children, this is the place to book!

The house was horrible. The bones were great, but it was very dirty and rundown in many areas. Mini blinds were broken and did not reach the bottom of the window. Heat vents were rusted. Shower curtain had pink slime on it. Hair and dirt in the corners in the bathroom. Pots and pans in the kitchen had crust in the bottom and were unusable. No trash cans in bathrooms and no toilet paper upon arrival. All linens were very worn, towels, sheets and comforters. Very unkept. A little money could have fixed all of this and yet it wasn't done.

Weekend stay with friends.

Very cozy house in a quiet neighborhood. Close to anything you’d need. Renters are very communicative and professional! It felt like a fantastic blend of a cozy home to stay, and a hotel experience!

House was just as posted in pics! Kids loved it, we couldnt take them away from the playing areas. Lexi, our host, was really supportive as well, we arrived a couple of hours earlier than our check-in time and helped us out, even waiving the fee. If you want a place to connect with nature, this is the place!

Upon arriving at the property, we were very disappointed by the overall condition of the home, especially considering the price we paid for our stay.The back bedroom had a broken bed frame with one of the legs missing. A brick had been placed underneath the frame in an attempt to support it, but the bed still leaned and felt unstable. While checking the room, we also found a dirty plate underneath the bed, which raised concerns about the cleanliness of the property.In the kitchen pantry, there were rotten potatoes that had been left behind. Several of the window blinds throughout the home were torn and broken. The television in the living room did not work because the remote was missing. The only functioning televisions were in the master bedroom and the back bedroom with the broken bed frame.For the price of this rental, we expected the home to be better maintained and properly stocked. There were no paper towels, cleaning supplies, or basic items available to help keep the home tidy during our stay. Additionally, the bathroom had not been properly cleaned before our arrival.Overall, the condition of the property did not match our expectations or justify the price we paid. We hope the host addresses these maintenance and cleanliness issues so future guests have a better experience.

Cute, Quit Neighborhood

We stayed here with some of our dance friends for a competition at Fuquay High School. The neighborhood is charming and kid friendly. It’s a great location to town but yet feels so secluded. The host communication was great and she was able to suggest a fun afternoon activity after a morning of dancing. We appreciate you sharing your home with us!

Just what we needed

We would definitely stay at this property again. It had plenty of beds and sleeping options for our family. My kids enjoyed playing with the toys and on the swing set outside. The house was very clean!

We enjoyed our stay at this house. We arrived waaay to early and the owners allowed us to check in early. They usually have an early check-in fee and they were gracious enough to waive the fee. The location was great. This is a house that is great for families with young children. Very accommodating.

Nice cottage

We were pleasantly surprised at the amount of space for everyone to sleep. The outside looks like it is small, but dont let that deceive you. Nice backyard for the kids to play as well. We were only there for a couple of days, but worth it.
