Welcome to your pet-friendly lakefront home base, just twenty minutes from The Villages` town squares! Set on 10 lakefront acres on Myrtle Lake, shared with the other homes on the property, this 2-bedroom, 1-bath half of a duplex in Fruitland Park sleeps 6 in real beds: a queen in Bedroom 1 and a full-over-full bunk with a desk in Bedroom 2. Kick back on the big sectional with the wall-mounted TV, challenge the crew to foosball, and step through the French doors to a fenced yard with lake views just past the fence. A mini-split A/C system cools the whole 800 sq ft home. You also get an in-unit washer and dryer, a coffee bar, and a kitchenette with a full-size fridge, 2-burner cooktop, microwave, air fryer and toaster. Lake Griffin State Park is 10 minutes away, Downtown Leesburg 15, Mount Dora 40, and Orlando International about 1 hour 25 minutes. Up to 3 pets are welcome!

Please note before booking: this is one half of a duplex, and the 10 acres are shared with other rental homes. You share a wall, the fenced backyard and the gas grill with Unit 1 (propane isn`t provided or guaranteed). The screened lanai belongs to Unit 1 and is not included, and the property pool belongs to a neighboring rental and is not available. About the lake: it`s for views only. There`s no direct lake access because the shoreline is thick with lily pads, there`s no dock, and swimming isn`t possible. Fishing is allowed but difficult. The kitchen is a kitchenette (no oven or full range), and there is one bathroom for up to 6 guests. The driveway is unpaved sand, the home uses well water, and there are exterior cameras only, none inside.

Traveling with a bigger group? Unit 1 sleeps 10. Book both and bring up to 16!

Check-In / Check-Out
- Check-in 4:00 PM – 11:00 PM. Checkout by 10:00 AM.
- Early check-in and late checkout are sometimes available. Just ask, and we`ll give you a straight answer as soon as the cleaning schedule is set!

Guests & Age
- Maximum 6 guests. The number of guests on the reservation must match the number of people staying.
- No parties or events. No unregistered overnight guests.
- The reserving guest must be 18 or older and present for the duration of the stay. Guests 18–20 pay a $100 security deposit before check-in.
- Photo ID required from the booking guest before check-in.

Pets Welcome
- Up to 3 pets welcome: $30 per pet, per night (stays of 9+ nights: $250 per pet, flat), disclosed at booking.
- No pets on furniture or beds. Please pick up after them, and keep them supervised near the lake.

Respect for Neighbors
- Quiet hours 10:00 PM – 8:00 AM. This home is a duplex, and the 10-acre property is shared with other rental homes.
- No smoking anywhere on the property, indoors or out.
- The screened lanai belongs to Unit 1 and is not part of this rental. The pool on the property belongs to a neighboring rental and is not available to guests of this home.

Stay Guidelines
- Trash goes in the bins at the front of the property by the street only. Never leave trash outside, since it attracts wildlife. A $50 fee applies if trash is left out.
- The lake is for views only: no swimming, and there`s no dock. Fishing is allowed but difficult from the lily-pad shoreline. Please supervise children and pets near the water.
- Please keep exterior doors closed (Florida bugs!).
- Guests are responsible for their own belongings. Items left behind are not stored or shipped.
