« The house was very clean and comfortable for our group of 4 adults and 3 kids. The decks were lovely and we made good use of the outdoor fireplace and hot tub! »

« The cabin was very nice! It has been updated a bit since the photos that are on the listing. Nice quiet area. We walked to the creek/NF to fish - it's about .5 mile from the cabin, easy walk. The kitchen was stocked with lots of condiments, all the pots/pans/bowls/utensils that you would need. Wifi worked great. Would stay here again! »

« This cabin was a wonderful place to stay! It was quiet except for the sound of birds in the woods. The interior of the cabin was clean and well furnished; the bed was especially comfortable. While we didn't make use of the fire pit, the screened porch was our favorite place to sit day or night. Although it might have been too early for them, we felt relaxed on the porch knowing we wouldn't be attacked by mosquitoes or other bugs. It was easy to take our dog out for a walk on the back roads...

« Overall an average experience except for a few things, contact person did not call back or answer my text regarding hairdryer missing or open the garage door. The Keurig was not working , TV was not set up . The place was clean, great location, quiet and safe neighborhood. This place has the potential to be an awesome experience if attention is paid to the small details. »

« This was honestly everything we hoped it would be! Beautiful landscape, river access, plenty of space at the Captains Lodge to relax and enjoy yourself or play games with the family. We enjoyed the entire stay! Internet was not great, but also we were fine with unplugging and just enjoying the nature. « The location was minutes from Skyline Drive and we were close to tons of hiking. Front and back yard were both fenced and great for my niece and my dogs. House was super clean and had everything we needed. Only suggestion is a bigger couch or more seating in the living room. It was a little tight trying to relax at night in front of the TV. »

« I’ll get right to the point - the reason for the lower check in process rating was that the address was listed wrong in the property details and we tried to get into someone else’s home. That being said, the owner responded fairly quickly, resolved the information snafu, provided compensation and the rest of our stay was completely stress free.
