Our OBX "Fin & Tonic" 3BR/2BA raised beach house, sleeps 8, 1-2 small dogs okay ($75 pet fee). Our F&T House is recently upgraded, 2nd new back deck and stairs by ocean on 5/14/26, free WiFi, New 43” smart HDTV in den in 12/19, crows nest & new roof added to house in 2015. 2nd New fridge and oven in 3/21. New clothes dryer on 9/14/21. New futon in den in 9/21. New bathrooms floors and 2nd new HVAC in 9/22. 2 new benches facing ocean on back porch and crows nest. Please See all upgrades below.
OBX House: Our OBX "Fin & Tonic" beach house is located in Frisco, NC (at: 54349 NC Hwy 12, & 5 min. North of Hatteras, NC before Ocracoke Island). This Raised Beach House is 3BR/2BA, second row to Sound & third row oceanfront, great views of sound and some ocean, sleeps 8 max. and newly furnished and decorated in beachy furniture & decor in 2012-2024! House upgraded yearly. No Hwy to cross to beach! House is 3rd row from ocean (about 2 min walk to Ocean or Sound from house). House on Oceanside or east side of NC Hwy 12! Public walkway to beach behind house.

This Outer Bank (OBX) 3BR/2BA raised beach house is for rent by owner (Hines). House sleeps 8 max., 1152 square feet and is 3rd row to ocean & 2nd row row to sound. Great location with ocean and sound views. Very close to Frisco Pier. 1-2 min. Walk from house to ocean or sound. House behind Frisco Pier! Located on NC 12 just north of Cape Hatteras Pier in Frisco. (oceanside nc 12). Approx. 10 minute drive north of the Ocracoke ferry! Approx. 15 minute drive south of Cape Hatteras lighthouse! Great sailboarding, surfing and fishing in OBX in one of the most remote spots on the NC east coast! Owner discounts for long term monthly and vacation rental by owner. Great views and location! Our 'Fin and Tonic' rental beach house was recently remodeled, upgraded in 2012 - 2024. All new beachy furniture, appliances and decor in house. House is 3rd row to ocean & 2nd row row to sound. Great location with some ocean views and great sound views. 2-min. walk to Frisco Pier. 1-2 min. Walk from house to either ocean or sound. House is about 1000 feet NW behind Frisco Pier! Spectacular views of Sound and peak view of ocean from 3rd row or about 300 feet to ocean! Great surfing & fishing in back yard & nearby Cape Hatteras Lighthouse in Buxton.
To access beach:
Walk behind our house on south side of yard and between 2 houses, cross 1-lane concrete old road (Marlin Ct.?) behind our house. Then see public walk path sign, no doggie poop fairy sign, walk between houses to the right on concrete public path to beach & along Public dune trail. About 2-3 min. Walk to beach from our F&T house.
Terms and Conditions:
Since 1994, Book online with VRBO / Expedia now and get Discount for Sat to Sat weekly rentals. 1-3 weeks max. (21 days max.) rentals online. House Sleeps 8 max. 1-2 dogs okay only. No cats or other animals. You Must call owner for monthly rentals! **All vacation guests are required to provide house owner: Stewart Hines their mailing address at reservation and sign our vacation rental form mailed to you. This is required to mail you house access keys, code, parking passes, map, etc. Total Price shown online by VRBO includes the owner discount, as shown in the Discount amount after you book online. Great ocean views and location, near everything, pool! We’re Sorry, No pets, no smoking house. We have an A+ Rating with the Better Business Bureau since 2012. All vacation guests are required to provide owner their mailing address at reservation, & sign owner vacation rental form (mailed or emailed to you) with your info and ours on it before we mail you our final letter with: 2 OBX Fin&Tonic house keys, 2 parking passes, map, rules, new door lock code, owner vacation rental agreement, all. Therefore, we require your mailing address.
NOTE: Owner requires 3-4 weeks min. prior notice before your stay & booking online due to: 2 mailings, payment from VRBO, logistics, Owner must get paid and you sign our vacation rental agreement. If in doubt email owner first before you book online and get approval! This is due to 2 mailings and your total payment clearing our bank and we receive your signed vacation rental form before we mail you house access final letter with keys, new deadbolt code, parking passes, rules, map, all.
VRBO no longer provides that to owner due to their new privacy policy. No check in as all is mailed to you. Owner requires at least 3-4 weeks notice from online booking date to your check in date for 2 mailings and your payment clearing our bank. extra clean. Renter agrees to rent our home listed for the subject dates and times for stated rent fee, and accept and obey all resort / HOA rules and Hines vacation home rental agreement, as shown online at Owner page and will be provided in our final confirmation letter to you. For rent by owner as is furnished.
