  • Welcome to your new favorite vacation home on Fripp Island! This newly renovated 4-bedroom, 3.5 bathroom gem offers the perfect blend of luxury and comfort. Enjoy breathtaking sunset views from the spacious rear deck off the main living room, or relax on the screened porch accessible from the first-floor bedrooms. Professionally decorated in 2024, the house has a beach theme with memorabilia from many of the great movies that were filmed on and around Fripp Island; these include Forest Gump, The Prince of Tides, The Big Chill, and The Legend of Bagger Vance.



    Inside, you'll find a brand new kitchen equipped with modern appliances, new flooring throughout, and a convenient washer and dryer. The first floor 3 bedrooms are generous in size and are beautifully decorated. The rear bedrooms share access to a screened porch with wonderful views of the marsh. Great House with Marsh View

House was nicely decorated and furnished with pretty views. 4 very comfortable bedrooms. Perfect for my family of 5 including 3 college age sons who each got their own nice rooms.

This house has beautiful sunset views and is located on a quiet street. It has an open floor plan and is very comfortable for big families. The only draw back was that the bikes were in poor condition.

Nice location to go to Marina, center of island and cabana club. Well stocked kitchen. Great communication. Nice that it comes with 2 cards and a golf cart. Lots of steps (fyi) and could use some updates but clean. Very friendly owner. We have stayed here twice and would again.

Nice pet friendly house.

Great stay and enjoyed bringing our dogs. The golf cart was wonderful having as was having some bicycles to take down to the beach access. We grilled almost every night. Kitchen is well stocked with dishes and pots and pans. Plenty of room for the 5 of us. Living area is on the 3rd floor so makes a lot of trips up and down if anyone has mobility issues but makes for a nice view out the back of the house to see the marsh area.

The location was ideal for us as we were multiple families staying together for a golf tournament. The kitchen was well equipped, except not enough kitchen towels. We had to contact the property management group to come back to do additional cleaning of the outdoor dining area as it was quite dirty. The gas grill was in very poor and dirty condition and frankly needs replaced.Also, it quickly became a parent that there was no hot water our first evening. After doing some of our own troubleshooting, we discovered the breaker to the hot water heater was off. There is also an issue with raccoons in the evening as wellDespite the above issues, beds were comfortable. Plenty of closet space with hangers. Check in and out was very easy,Space itself seemed smaller than we expected. .

The property needs a lot of upkeep - paint and repairs would help a lot. The kitchen is well-stocked with equipment, if you enjoy cooking, the beds are comfortable, and the linens are in good shape. It is a good place to touchdown after very busy days. The owner is very nice. My grandson left some expensive equipment in the unit and the owner sent it to us right away, at his expense. It was very generous.

Just okay

The house looks as pictured but the beds, linens, bathrooms and kitchen weren’t very nice. The house had very minimal bedding so no extra blankets or bedding and we had a rainy cool couple of days and could have used a few extras. Also the kitchen was very difficult to prepare food in because there was only a couple of pots and pans and they were older and very used looking. Only 2 baking dishes and just seemed to be stocked from leftovers from an old kitchen. The bathrooms were functional but very dated. Overall it was fine for a quick weekend but I wouldn’t book again.

Updated Home

The house was clean and had recent updates, just as depicted in the photos. It’s in a fantastic location, especially if you enjoy visiting Fripp during the July 4th week. The proximity to the golf course offers excellent fireworks visibility. The kitchen was well-stocked, perfect for those who enjoy cooking while on vacation. However, be aware that there are many steps, which might be challenging if you have knee or hip problems. On the downside, all of the beds were quite uncomfortable, which affected our overall enjoyment of the home. Another point of disappointment was discovering a "We See 'Um" golf cart in the garage after being informed there wouldn't be one and a subsequent rental on our part. When I inquired, I was told it was the owner's personal golf cart, which seemed confusing unless the owner also owns We See 'Um.

Not sure when it was “newly renovated”, but it does not appear to have been renovated recently. The general exterior needed cleaning and painting, and there were a number of places with wood rot. But by far the worst was the HVAC ductwork that ran through the garage (ceiling) that had been attacked by raccoons, with insulation torn away and the duct ripped open, limiting air flow to the interior of the home above. When this was reported to maintenance, the maintenance guy that came to look at it already knew about the situation, which makes it worse given that they had done nothing to make repairs prior to our arrival. The ice maker made about 10 cubes a day and we bought ice at the marina market so as to have ice for drinks. In addition to the mess in the garage from chewed up insulation and ductwork, the grounds were deplorable, with trash strewn around the house and little to no landscaping or cutting back of the overgrown shrubs and plants. Needless to say, we won’t stay here again.

Perfect vacation with our adult children.

This place feels like it’s brand new. We really enjoyed taking the bikes out every day, and the golf cart was a favorite! We used the grill a lot and ate all our meals at the property. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you need for cooking. My daughter and her fiancé spent a lot of alone time on the screened in porch. My husband loves watching the sun set and the main balcony was perfect for that. We had a beautiful view of the marsh. Beautifully decorated and very clean.
