Secluded home near Patoka Lake & French Lick. Nature Lover's Dream

This beautiful country home is just what you need for a secluded get away, yet still within minutes from downtown French Lick. It is truly a retreat.

Fully stocked kitchen, 4 Bedrooms- 2 king beds, 1 Queen, bunk beds and daybed with trundle (twins), 3 full baths, washer/dryer, back yard fire pit, gas grill. Activities in the basement include foosball, 3 arcade games (NBA Jam is 4 player, X-men is 2 player, and Golden Tee for the husband) board games, and a full toy chest for the littles. Things to bring: favorite coffee (keurig and coffee pot available), firewood.

Numerous surrounding attractions, not to mention 30 acres of beautiful property with picturesque views right in the back yard with hiking trails, a stream and cool rock feature at the bottoms. (A second home next door is also used as a short term rental with adjoining property so if you see another guest walking a trail, no worries). Trail is moderate terrain. This home suits a romantic get away couple, family, or large group up to 10 people. ($10.00/person for over 6 guests to account for cleaning costs).

This was a girls trip for my birthday with my 3 best friends. It was only a 3.5 hr drive for us. Luckily we got a semi-nice weekend weather wise. We took a short little walk up to the damn. The wine tasting at the Patoka Lake Vineyard was so much fun. The house was perfect for us. We took advantage of using the fire pit and roasted marshmallow peeps. There wasn’t anything that we needed that wasn’t there provided for us. We had an issue with a toilet (our fault, not theirs) and Allison had someone there to fix it in less than 10 mins. Very nice place, very nice people. The town was such a nice little town. We also hit the casino and if you’re looking for a little music and dancing, Legends is the place to go. The food there was ok, but atmosphere was awesome. Thanks Ali and Husband(sorry forgot your name) I had an amazing 60th birthday and girl’s weekend away.

This property has everything you need for a long weekend. The house itself is well stocked with essentials and kitchen needs. Outside has a large fire pit and the wooded walking trails can keep you busy for hours. The drive to French Lick is only 10 minutes and has a lot to do. French Licks had something for everyone, ice cream, pizza, and coffee. If I had to find negatives, we did arrive at night and the outside path wasn’t well lit. Seating areas are large but are not set up for a lot of comfy seats for lounging. Overall a really good experience.

Allison was great! Very responsive to our questions. The house was perfect for our celebration, very roomy and clean. Having 4 big bedrooms and 3 bathrooms was perfect for our group. We would definitely stay here again should our travels bring us back to French Lick.

Perfect Polar Express Train property! The host was very welcoming and provided helpful directions to the property. They had cute Christmas decor set up which was such a lovely touch. The house was very clean! The layout was perfect for our group - my husband and I stayed downstairs in the king bedroom with our infant son in the pack n play and our two elementary aged kiddos kept in the bunk bed/trundle bed room downstairs. They loved having the arcade room available to them! My parents and brother and sister-in-law stayed in the two main floor bedrooms. It was so nice to have the kiddos be able to play and watch TV at the crack of dawn (when children hyped up on Christmas cheer and vacation vibes wake up) downstairs until a reasonable hour when we allowed them upstairs to eat breakfast and wake up their family members! The kids loved going on a walk through the woods on the property, too! We would absolutely return again!

Great country home.

Wonderful spring getaway

Wonderful host and beautiful home that is tastefully decorated. 10 min drive to French Lick. Great for families of all ages. The back porches are lovely to watch the sun rise. The house was freshly cleaned and smelled great when we walked in. There were a few things that needed some attention but nothing that would prevent me from recommending this home to a friend.

Our stay at this house was fantastic! It's clean, updated, spacious, and had everything we needed for our visit to French Lick & Paoli Peaks. The amount of bedrooms and variety of bed sizes is great. The game room in the basement with multiple arcade games plus a TV with a Fire TV stick and a table with 6 chairs was absolutely perfect. The bathrooms were clean, had plenty of towels and washcloths; the kitchen & refrigerator were clean, and there's plenty of counter top space and island space for our entire group of 6 people to make food and drinks without stepping on each other. The property manager was fast to respond to a question I had for her.All in all, this was a great experience staying here and we will return in the future.

Family Holiday Mini Vacation

Our family of 10 stayed for a long weekend. We loved the big island in the kitchen. All of the TVs were smart TVs so we were able to watch lots of fun Christmas movies. The games in the basement were a huge hit with the kids. Fantastic yard and views of nature. Would be great in the summer. Only con was the mattress in the upstairs bedroom was very soft, as well as one of the mattresses for the kids. If you don't mind soft mattresses it's ok. Otherwise really great place to stay and would highly recommend it.
