Pros
1. The cleaners seemed to do a good job. The house was pretty clean. The only thing we noticed was trash under the couch and between the couch cushions and the dishes in the cupboards were dirty/rusty.
2. The beds and couches are very comfortable. The furniture worked well for our family with the bunk beds. We did need more bedding. The beds only had a sheet and thin bedspread.
Cons
1. The water quality in this home/area is terrible. The water smells very bad and leaves an odor on your skin. The property has what looks like a water softener system, but either it is not working or is not enough. We did not feel like we were able to get a good shower the whole time and had to brush our teeth with bottled water.
2. Much of the home needs repair, the doors wonât fully open from hitting the floor, a cabinet door is missing, lots of the fixtures are rusted, the deck has nails sticking up and needs paint/repair, paint is peeling from the walls in the bathroom, etc.
3. It is also not ânearâ the beach. Itâs at least a 1/2 to 2/3 of a mile walk. So we had to drive to the beach.
Overall, it met our needs but we were not that comfortable. We would not recommend this rental unless the water issue is resolved for sure and many repairs are made.
