Tout le monde profite d'une vue magnifique, mais il est rare que vous puissiez en faire l'expérience depuis votre porche ou votre cour arrière. Eh bien, au Lookout Hill Cottage, vous le pouvez!

Située à seulement six kilomètres de Luckenbach et à quatorze heures du centre-ville de Fredericksburg, cette maison est idéale pour quiconque souhaite faire l'expérience de toutes les grandes attractions de Hill Country et ensuite revenir à la maison dans la paix et la tranquillité. La chambre principale comprend un lit king merveilleux tandis que la deuxième chambre dispose d'une reine formidable. We have been visiting Fredericksburg for over 30 years and have stayed in many homes. The Lookout Hill Cottage is now my favorite! It has such a warm and cozy vibe and the hosts have thought of everything. They provided a gift basket with wine, chips and salsa, etc. and every sink was outfitted with Fredericksburg Farms hand soap and lotion in different scents. The view is absolutely incredible!! I honestly did not want to leave.

Great cabin

This was a wonderful place to stay. It had everything we could possibly need. the cabin was beautifully decorated and immaculate. The view from the picture window was amazing! Close enough to all the places we wanted to visit and yet very private. Excellent experience!

Amazing

We have stayed here twice now and it has been incredible both times. It's immaculately clean, has everything you need/want, and the views are priceless. Lovely Escape

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this lovely little house out near Luckenbach. It was probably the cleanest house we’ve ever rented, and every little detail down to the soap in the bathrooms was a treat.

Absolutely loved this place! The owners thought of everything - from a welcome basket of wine and treats to bathrobes to local lotions, shampoos, etc. Kitchen was fully stocked with everything you need to cook. And the VIEW - just amazing.

Hill Country at its Best!

Wonderful stay--we will definitely return! Thoroughly enjoyed the peace and quiet and scenic views. We were grateful for the goodies left for us, which were such a treat! Also appreciated the attention to detail and how well-stocked the cottage was; only negative would be that the outdoor grill needs some upkeep.

Cozy home, Superb View

My husband and I, along with our son and his wife spent three days in Lookout Hill Cottage, and enjoyed our time immensely. The cottage has a knockout view of the hills and everything we needed to be comfortable. The kitchen was well supplied with everything we needed to prepare our meals. The location was convenient to all the things one wants to do in the area. We highly recommend this house!

The Good Life!

What a beautiful slice of heaven. The house was perfect in every way. Secluded, well stocked, impressively decorated and those views...WOW! The owners truly went above and beyond on the special touches to make this lovely home even more special. My husband and I visit the Hill Country numerous times a year and this is hands down the best rental we have experienced. (PS the hill is steep just as mentioned but it soooo worth it to see those views!)

Even Better than Expected!

The property was so charming with absolutely breathtaking views. We woke and sipped coffee to 12 deer just out the back window. They set out the cutest little gift basket. Even with storms and gloomy weather, our stay was so serene. The minute we got there we were really shocked that it was even nicer than we expected! Highly recommend!

Lookout Hill Cottage

We have stayed in MANY homes in Fredericksburg, and this was by far the best. The house itself is adorable, the view is incredible, and the extra amenities the owners left were so thoughtful. They thought of everything you could need and more. I can't say enough positive things about this home and the owners. We plan to make this a multiple times a year getaway. We rested, we shopped, we ate, and then sat on the porch every night and just stared in awe at the view and the stars. It was an amazing stay!

Besides being a lovely house and having awesome views there isn't a thing you could possibly want or need in this house except a shower because after 3 joints being replaced and overall decreased movement I am not able to take a tub bath.

Perfect little place

We really had a great time. The house has all of the things you will need for the weekend. The driveway is very steep so when it is wet, you will slip. My truck is all wheel drive and we had a hard time if we slowed down too much. We saw wildlife and it was so neat.

Amazing!

The cutest little cottage! Loved the welcome basket and all of the personal touches. Everything is absolutely beautiful! Enjoyed drinking coffee in the morning with a beautiful sunrise while a few young deer came and visited. Only downfall was the tub. Very low water pressure which made it a little difficult to bathe and wash hair. Other than that, it was outstanding!

Outstanding View

This property is the reason we love the hill country. We come to Fredericksburg often and always in search of property with a view. We have found it. This will be our rental from now on. We love the location, out of town from all the people. But close enough for quick drive to stores. Clean and just perfect size. A little awkward with no shower but I can see why. All the amenities you need. Lovely snack basket and bottle of wine.

The BEST cottage in the Texas Hill Country!

We've stayed at Lookout Hill Cottage a handful of times now since 2023, and we can't rate it highly enough. The cottage is pristinely clean and fully equipped with all the comforts of home. The views from both front and back porches are phenomenal. The fun details are delightful - wine, chocolates, snacks .... always something unexpected and much appreciated! ... what a treat! The cottage is beautiful with a vintage feel and surrounded by hill country wildlife ... it's truly a gem tucked away just far enough from the bustle of Fredericksburg town to be peaceful and quiet but close enough to enjoy the best Fredericksburg has to offer. Lookout Hill Cottage is our favorite home away from home that we will continue to visit as much as we possibly can. Thank you to the owners for such a heavenly experience!

Nice clean cottage

Lookout Hill cottage is beautiful. The owners have thought things through in order to make your stay enjoyable. The cottage is clean and stocked with wonderful smelling soaps and lotions. They even leave a complimentary bottle of wine and some snacks for your enjoyment. The bed is comfortable and they have plenty of nice chairs available for lounging while you enjoy your visit. The view is beautiful and the land is peaceful. Our only complaint is that this cottage has a claw foot tub with poor water pressure, especially from the hand held shower. The hand held shower puts out a slow trickle of water. Don't get me wrong, I love a claw foot tub and have one in my own home that I use daily, but the tub in this cottage has terrible pressure and it is difficult to rinse soap out of your hair. The cottage is a short drive to Fredericksburg for entertainment and meals. Nice place to stay.

Peaceful and quiet

My kids and I loved this place. I came here to celebrate Mother's Day and the end of a rough school semester, so I gave myself a gift for my hard work😉 What I loved the most is the privacy this place offers. You could have a big party with loud music, dance naked, sleep under the stars and no one will ever bother you. Complete privacy! The views are spectacular! Another thing that I loved was to watch the sunset from the kitchen window while I was washing the dishes. The cottage is super clean. The owners have really put a lot of effort in decorating their cottage. Each room has different paint colors; beautiful colors!! The owners did an excellent job in the decoration. This my first time staying in a very isolated place. It was just me and my two children , 10 and 13. So it can be scary when you are not used to be away from the city. Honestly, if it wasn't for the bugs, you could sleep with the patio doors open in the master bedroom! Lovely place! This cottage is very isolated, no neighbors, except the deers, foxes, coyotes, snakes. It is pitch dark outside. If you love star gazing, this is the place! I would love to come back here in a full moon!! The owners also leave for their guest some gifts. A bottle of wine, chips, salsa and a peach pecan butter! Delicious!!! Cons: I personally loved the bath tub. However, if you are tall and big, this tub is not for you. Does not have a shower, just a shower hose, so you have to hold it while you wash your hair. And body. It was a little uncomfortable for me, since I have very long hair. But I loved it. If you are a type of person that likes to take 2 min shower, this tub is not for you. Everything else. Is perfect.

Absolutely Wonderful

We have been coming to Fredericksburg for many years and Lookout Hill Cottage is now our favorite place to stay. The amazing views and awesome little house made our weekend one of the most enjoyable times that we have had in a long time. The place had everything we needed and then some. Auh-Mazing!

Loved this little Cottage - super close to Lukenbach and not too far from town APPROX 20 mins. Beds are super comfy. Gorgeous Sunset and Sunrise. Only down fall NO shower only tub with low water pressure. Funny watching a grown man bathe :) Overall great stay!
